Big shout out to Kara! ♥️ Reversed her pre-diabetes diagnosis!
I want to share something about one of our clients, Kara. She's a doctor. Long hours, random shifts, eating whenever she could fit it in. For years she'd been losing and regaining the same 10-15 lbs. She'd lose weight for a couple of months, get sick of what she was doing, stop, and by April she was heavier than when she started. On top of that, she was pre-diabetic. So we didn't put her on a diet. We just taught her how food actually works. How calories work. How protein works. How to build meals that keep you full without eating like a monk. She was still eating takeout when she was too tired to cook. Still having snacks. Still living a NORMAL life. 🔥 Down 26 lbs. But the bigger win was that she reversed her pre-diabetes diagnosis. That's the stuff that actually matters long term. Something new I built for the community 👇
One thing I’ve noticed in here is that a lot of people want to get stronger and build muscle… but feel like they’re guessing in the gym. Random workouts. Random exercises. Trying to copy what they see online. So I decided to build something for this group. Emergency adventure
So I took my son to emergency last night. He has a concussion 🤕!! Ended up back home at 2 am. 🕑 I was so tired and needed to wake up normally at 5:30 but I decided has much as consistency is important I need my sleep. Woke up at 7 am. Almost fell asleep at work a few times. I’m taking as many steps as I can now in my house while I clean up. Will be in bed by 9:30 today no later than that. Listening to your body is important !!!

So we had a couples dinner this weekend… and yes…THE LEGEND finally met the moment — PATRICK 🤣 I couldn’t hold it in anymore… I told him:👉 “You know you’re kinda famous in our community, right?” Then I shared how I tell his story about:🚴‍♂️ Going on a bike ride🍽️ With NO food beforehand😵 And learning the hard way… And how we now say:“DON’T BE PATRICK!” 😂 He just started laughing like, “Wow… I really made an impact huh?” YES SIR. You sure did.A whole educational moment wrapped in a meme 😆 Moral of the story:👉 Fuel your body👉 Don’t skip meals before workouts👉 Learn from Patrick… without being Patrick 💬 Question for the group:What’s a funny fitness moment or mistake that turned into a lesson for you?
