HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. How My Life is Richer Because I Question Everything
The following is a chapter from my book, Life: It's a Trip. ----------------- Slaughter Your Sacred Cows As the bus hummed along the freeway, I was enjoying the chit-chat among the passengers. I looked out at the traffic coming from the opposite direction. Somewhere along the way, I fell asleep and when I came to, I awakened to the most beautiful scenery I have yet to experience. As I looked out of the window, there was a huge pink wall outside, close enough to reach out and touch, or so it seemed. I looked up front and breathtaking is all I can say to describe it. I found out later that this particular stretch of Interstate 15 in the northwest corner of the state of Arizona has been voted the most beautiful stretch of highway in the United States and Canada by the professional truck drivers, people who spend most of their lives on the highways and byways of America. Later on, I wrote a blog post, musing about the fact that so often we go through life with our eyes closed to all that is around us, when all we have to do is open our eyes to see it all. This is not only true literally, it is also true metaphorically. We live in an abundant world, yet we fail to see all that there is, because we go through life with blinders on. Whether the blinders are those of science, religion, culture or tradition, it is all the same. They prevent us from seeing all there is. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to meet people who have helped me see things in a different light than I was used to and opened up a whole new world for me over and over again and I am extremely grateful for this. I credit my dad with encouraging me to see things differently by constantly showing me things differently and challenging me to find out the truth for myself before accepting someone else’s version of the truth. When I first came to the United States, I had preconceived notions about the people in the West. Those illusions were shattered as I met more and more people.
