Title: A Song for Our Skool? 🎵 Hello, skoolmates! At 85, I remember how a school song could create a wonderful sense of togetherness. As kids, we all sang "School Days" (from 1907!), and in high school, our own anthem meant a great deal to us all. (You can hear the original tune here: https://youtu.be/wJb2oEdBQaE?list=RDwJb2oEdBQaE&t=21 Original Lyrics (First Verse and Chorus): text School days, school days Dear old golden rule days Readin' and 'ritin' and 'rithmetic Taught to the tune of a hick'ry stick You were my queen in calico I was your bashful, barefoot beau And you wrote on my slate, "I love you, Joe" When we were a couple of kids. Now that we're part of this brilliant new skool, I found myself wondering what our song might be. So, I tried my hand at writing one that I hope fits us! It's called "Create Days," and it uses the words we see every day here—like Activity, Bonfire, Community, Comments, and Creators. My hope is that we can have an anthem to call our own; something to be played at Meetups, during the Games, and as we celebrate Awards. I've shared the lyrics below. What do you think? Create Days by Edat85(Sing to the tune of the old classic “School Days”) Create days, create days, Bright new global platform days. Sharing your passions, your skills, and experience, Learned in the spirit of resilience. (Chorus) We are a world of creators, Building a community. You post your great "Activity," And I'll reply with energy. From "Comments" and the "Replies" we grow, In this great school we know! (Verse 2) The "Games," the "Bonfire," the "Award" we chase, With leaders guiding at a supportive pace. Every "Activity" is a chance to see, The person that we're meant to be. (Chorus) We are a world of creators, Building a community. You post your great "Activity," And I'll reply with energy. From "Comments" and the "Replies" we grow,
