💪 Win: Inspiring My Chiropractor’s Health Journey
I don’t know about you, but I always get excited when I go see my chiropractor. We usually catch up on fitness and life, and she shares how her journey has been up and down while running her own private practice. Every time I walk in, she greets me with the biggest smile and a hug. Today, she looked amazing — like she’d lost weight and had that healthy glow. So of course I had to ask: “So Dr… you’re looking GOOD — losing weight and glowing. Fill me in on the 411!” She told me she’s been prioritizing her protein, taking psyllium husk, and making better choices with whole foods. My heart was so happy hearing this because over all our conversations, she’s been quietly taking notes — and now she’s actually applying them. I told her how proud I was of her and asked if she was still exercising. She smiled and said, “Yes — I schedule my classes, and my daughter and I hold each other accountable.” That right there made me SO happy. Seeing her take care of herself while modeling healthy habits for her daughter is everything. Before I left, she gave me a big hug (as always), and I told her I’d check in next time and to keep up the amazing work she’s doing. Moments like these remind me that consistency, community, and leading by example really do create ripples. 💛

Another day
Today is Tuesday. It’s the day that my gain showed on the scale. So what !!! It happened before and will probably happen again but life goes on. No punishment, no restrictions. Eating my good foods and still having some things I’m craving in moderation. Realizing I’m feeling more like snacking the week before. 🩸 I’m trying to start with fruits and end with sweets if I need it. Leaving bread for last even if I crave it more also. I did have a keto wrap for lunch and that was good. I am loving baked sweet potatoes right now they are my favourite. Hopefully you guys are all having a great day and living your best life.
