HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. 🚨 BREAKING: You don't need a "merch idea." You already have the merch — you just haven't spotted it yet. Here's the tip: stop asking "what should I make?" and start asking "what do I already say?" Look at your last 10 posts, emails, or client calls. What's the phrase you keep repeating? The line people quote back to you? The thing you say so often you're sick of hearing yourself say it? That's not just your messaging. That's your merch. A coach who always says "progress over perfection" → most people would slap it on a t-shirt, a sticker, or a mug. There's a better way. Put that same line on a custom printed eco-friendly Swedish dishcloth — a cool product that replaces 17 rolls of paper towels, lasts 6-9 months and gets used 2-3 times a day. Or put it on a custom printed mint tin — that lives in your client's purse, car, or the desk drawer they actually open. They can be bold or though-provoking... they can be YOU. And they're useful in a way that makes people keep them without thinking about it. (Think about creating your own Altoids tin... and they're simple to get made and that's what I can help you with.) You're not starting from zero. You're translating what's already working — you just need to stop putting it on the obvious thing. Time to think outside the box and put your ideas into one. So, if this is the first time you've thought about merch this way, join my free community GET YOUR MERCH MADE for real strategy, and no "slap a logo on it" nonsense. (And yes, this tin is from an actual brand.)

#Breaking News: Only 17% of podcasters make it to episode 10
I'm in my 11th year as a podcaster with over 1,000+ episodes. Very few podcasters have this kind of longevity so.... Here are 10 quick podcast growth/monetization tips l wish I knew when I started. ⤵️ 1) Weekly podcast content is GOLD. ⭐️ I haven't missed a week since 2015...and I've got over one million downloads. 9 out of 10 dentists agree that you should brush your teeth every day and release a podcast episode every week.....you cannot argue with SCIENCE! 🧬 2) Expert positioning is the KEY to converting listeners into clients. ➡️ 2/3 of my content is solo episodes and coaching episodes. ➡️ 1/3 (or less) of my content is interviews. This ratio allows me to be seen as THE expert.....not the person that INTERVIEWS experts. 3) Stick to ONE CTA (call to action) on each podcast episode. 📌 If you ask your audience to do twelve things they will do zero things. 4) Stop stressing out about being "everywhere" on social media. 📌 Focus on finding 1-2 platforms that feel E.L.F (easy, lucrative, and fun). Vote all of the other platforms off of the island. 🏝️ 5) You don't HAVE TO do any video content....like at all. 😱 All of the podcast influencers and "experts" will ring the bell of shame.... ....just ignore them and keep cranking out weekly audio episodes. 🔥🎧🔥 6) 🛑 Stop chasing podcast sponsors. 🍄 I can make ONE sale with a mushroom coffee affiliate link and earn 22 cents. 💰 I can make ONE sale with a one on one consulting package and earn $5,000. I've done the math....$5,000 > 22 cents. 7) 🛑 Stop over editing your podcast. If you deliver a TON of value... and deliver it with at least mediocre energy... ...your audience won't care if you say "UM" four times. 👍 8) 🛑 Stop accepting guests from PR companies that address their pitch emails to "Amanda".. ..my name is ADAM! 📌 Most of these guests really suck. ➡️ They won't share your podcast episode..... ➡️ and their gardener will be outside running the weed whacker the entire time while the interview is going on.

🇺🇸 Sometimes the Best Business Ideas Come When You Step Away
One thing I appreciate about holidays like the 4th of July is that they give us permission to slow down. As entrepreneurs, we're constantly solving problems, checking emails, serving clients, and thinking about what's next. But sometimes the best ideas don't come while we're working—they come when we give ourselves the space to think. This weekend gave me one of those moments. I recently had a bookkeeping intern complete their internship. They did a good job learning bookkeeping and made steady progress throughout the program. But what really stood out to me wasn't just their bookkeeping skills. They had a great attitude. They showed up consistently. They weren't afraid to ask questions. They genuinely enjoyed connecting with people. My initial thought was, "Maybe bookkeeping isn't the best long-term fit, and we'll simply wrap up the internship." But after a few days of reflection, I remembered something. As leaders, our job isn't just to evaluate people. It's to mentor them and help them discover where their natural strengths can create the most value. Maybe bookkeeping isn't where they'll shine the brightest. Maybe their real strength lies in building relationships, networking, and connecting business owners with the bookkeeping support they need. That shift in perspective completely changed how I thought about their future. It reminded me that just because someone isn't the strongest in one area doesn't mean they aren't a great fit for the team. Sometimes we simply need to stop asking, "What are they not good at?" and start asking, "Where can they thrive?" That was one of my biggest takeaways from this 4th of July weekend. What about you? Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR P.S. If you know a business owner who wants to have stronger confidence in bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online, have them check out the DBR Bookkeeping Community.
