Where Do I Start With Branded Merch If I Don’t Know What to Make?
If you’re a business owner, founder, or community leader who likes the idea of branded merch but feels stuck before you even start — you’re asking the wrong first question. Don’t start with the product. Start with the moment. The best branded merch, client gifts, and member products aren’t chosen from a catalog. They’re chosen around a specific moment where your audience needs a useful reminder, reward, or reason to come back. - After they join - When they purchase - Because they refer - Before they renew - When they reach a milestone That moment tells you what the product should do. Once you know that, the product choice gets a lot easier. So ask yourself this first: Where does my audience need a reason to come back, re-engage, or remember me? That’s your starting point. Want to connect with your audience on a deeper level? Join my free community CREATE KICKASS MERCH for how to get your brand in the hands of your clients and potential customers.

🎤 I'm Looking for a Skool Community to Recommend to 5,400+ Members...
Tomorrow, I'll be sending an email to 5,400+ Pinterest Skool members. The main subject of that email could be YOUR Skool Community. 👀 But first... You need to convince me. Imagine you're sitting across from me and I ask one simple question: Why should I tell 5,400+ entrepreneurs, creators, coaches, and business owners about YOUR community? Sell me. Not with a link. Not with hype. Not with "join my Skool." Tell me: ✅ Who your community is for ✅ What transformation members get ✅ What makes your community different ✅ Why someone should join YOUR community instead of the thousands of others on Skool If your answer stands out, I may feature your community in tomorrow's email. 🚫The Rules ✅ Comment below and SELL ME YOUR SKOOL (no links here) ✅ You MUST participate in the Small Business Weekend inside Pinterest Skool (links allowed) The best communities don't just promote themselves... They show up. They engage. They support other business owners. I'm looking for community owners who do exactly that. Tomorrow morning, I'll be reviewing every submission and choosing one (or more) communities that deserve attention. One comment could put your community in front of 5,400+ members. 👇 Sell Me Your Skool.

Love Pinterest. Use it for one of my businesses which drives a lot of traffic to that site. (Just joined your group.) Here on Skool, I just launched: CREATE KICKASS MERCH: Create products that build awareness, loyalty, connection & revenue—while your competitors keep posting into the void. Pick the product. We make it.
Why Do Some Branded Products Go Viral and Others Get Thrown Away?
It’s not about price. It’s not about how impressive the product looks. It’s about whether the product fits the moment. Stanley introduced the Quencher tumbler in 2016. It sat. They discontinued it in 2019 because nobody cared. Then a small group of women at a blog called The Buy Guide recommended it — not because it was new or trendy, but because it actually worked for a specific moment in their day. Stanley went back into production. Revenue went from $70 million to $750 million in just a few years. Same product. Completely different result. What changed wasn't the tumbler. What changed was who it reached and when. That’s the difference between branded merch that spreads and branded merch that ends up in a drawer. Want to find the right moment for your business? Need Community Feedback: Are These Two Communities Clear?
I've been in business for 30 years creating kickass merch for my clients I just launched 2 communities and would love your feedback: I separated my merch communities because I realized there are two very different needs & audiences: Create Kickss Merch is for learning how to use branded merch for client gifts, welcome, thank you gifts, milestone rewards etc., for your clients and members. I also get it made -- from strategy to idea to delivery, I handle sourcing, production, and manufacturing. The other community is Your Done-For-You Merch Store for people who want their own ready-made Print-On-Demand Store, branded with their logo, pre-stocked with name-brand premium products, and can be used for member gifts but also a ready-to-go retail shop. Does the distinction between these two groups make sense from the outside? Would love to hear any feedback. Thank you!

@Gwynne Conlyn Thanks... I was trying to separate (and having to explain) the difference between a DFY merch store which is pre-stocked with products vs creating ones own products. Does that make sense? And the strategy behind how to create the right gifts for one's audience. The DFY store isn't for everyone so I wasn't sure how to structure it. (I'm only a week old here, lol!)
