Body Doubling with Jim and the Team - ADHD Focus Reset
It'sno surpirse here, but I do lots of Body Doubling, today was a bit different at 4 am NZ time - not my norm - but thought hey - I shall join the wider team. While doing the session - I decided to use one of the many tools (inside AI Harmony) - to help get 𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗖𝗞. I Just did a 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 on a thought that's kept a "little nugget" of an idea festering in my notebook: "Who am I, an untrained facilitator coach, to offer anything?" Turns out I can't absolutely know that's true - I haven't even tabled the idea with anyone yet. What I rediscovered: I've got psychology qualifications, years of facilitation, and proven workshop skills. The Coaching Certification is one I demanded of myself, the develoment of the materials for the "newer modern world" of Digital Instructional Design is the missing piece - BUT it is just a skill I haven't mastered yet - and I don't have to do it all alone. 40 minutes of focussed time, that has helped me 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁, uncover the 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛, Consider the 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧 of not doing it, (not necessarily $$$s but Regret and a Self Verdict of "another bloody crazy idea, in the notebook", helped me consider some 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 and gived me a 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. Now the job - is to get on with it, and get the work scheduled into other Body Double sessions.

It feels like there literally is some kind of entity that keeps me from being able to shake this, and I don't fully believe we are 100% in control of what's going on. Because IF I was the sole creator of my reality I'd definitely already made changes for the better. Somehow I telepathically make others around me (I care or used to care about) do EXACTLY what I want to do or wanted to do for years/decades, yet I myself sit there and watch it happen like it's a movie and not a video game where I also can hop into that reality and ride it til the wheels falls off....Like THIS level of self sabotage when aside from sugar & internet I gotten myself off of any type of substance from alcohol, to cigarettes, caffeine/energy drinks, partying, video games, weed and much more, I just cannot believe that I am not able to shake this.

💭 Reflection: I didn’t get much sleep but heading to bed earlier tonight as I have work in the morning. However on the x2 hours of sleep I did get I feel quite alert and raring to go. Sleep has been a problem for me for the past two years as I can go to bed early but now sleep or fall asleep but not stay asleep. I’ve been productive though, did housework and took time to recover from the lack of sleep (taking direction from my Oura app) and being kind to myself. Wellbeing Scores: 😊 Happiness: 9/10 ⚡ Energy: 8/10 🎯 Focus: 8/10 😌 Calmness: 9/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 4/10 🔥 Motivation: 8/10 ⭐ Average: 8.6/10 Activities from yesterday: 🛏️ Little Sleep sadly 😒 ☀️ Morning Sunlight 💧 Stayed Hydrated 🌬️ Breath work 🍬 No Added Sugar ☕ No Late Caffeine 🥩 Hit Protein Goal 🧘‍♂️ Meditation ✨ Positive Mindset 📧 Inbox Zero 🌅 Focused Morning 1️⃣ Single Tasking 💊 Took medication and Supplements 🧠 Learning 🥦 Ate Fresh Vegetables 🌃 No Screentime at Night 🥗 Healthy Eating 🍺 No Alcohol 📅 No Meetings 📚 Reading 🎨 Creative Work
