Strength Building Workouts
Hi everyone! I’ve recently been diagnosed with Osteopenia after having a bone density scan. I want to try and get back into working out again to build strength. I dance twice a week as often as I can but find my back aching after a while. I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations of good exercises to try in the gym / at home or any recommendations to how to get better at building a workout routine. I have very limited time in the week to work out so shorter the better haha. Thank you in advance!💗

Hey! I’ve recently introduced a 3:3:30 rule for myself, I’m trying to do this 2-3 times a week. I don’t know if I made it up but essentially it’s 3 sets, of 3 exercises, for 30mins (or so I tell myself) it makes it a lot easier mentally to get to the gym 🙌
🍝 Tasty Tuesday: One Pot Chicken BBQ Pasta
If you hate cooking and washing up but still want something high protein and satisfying... this one’s for you! This One Pot BBQ Chicken Pasta is rich, filling, and packs over 50g of protein for 500 calories! 📊 Nutrition: 504 calories | 50g protein | 66g carbs | 4g fat Here's what you'll need 🛒: - 600g diced chicken breast - 80g BBQ sauce (+ extra to drizzle) - 1 tin chopped tomatoes - 1 red onion (diced) - 1 red pepper (diced) - A handful of spinach or any greens - GF pasta - 40g low-fat soft cheese (can use lactose-free too) - 1 chicken stock cube (in a mug of hot water) Season the chicken generously with salt, pepper, chicken seasoning & garlic granules. We use Kallo for the chicken stock! Here's what to do 👩‍🍳: 1. Fry the onion & pepper in a deep pan 2. Add the chicken and season well 3. Stir in spinach and cook until chicken is nearly done 4. Add chopped tomatoes, chicken stock & pasta 5. Cover and simmer until the pasta is cooked 6. Turn off the heat and stir in the soft cheese 7. Drizzle with BBQ sauce if you fancy We used this pasta from The Nuffin Man! It was amazing and super high protein, bumped it to 60g per portion! https://thenuffinman.co.uk/product/red-lentil-and-wholegrain-rice-capricci/ Make sure to track and adjust the calories as needed 💪 Love, Ella 🧡

Youtube workouts
Anyone have any favourites? Looking for good at home workouts- especially involving strength training/dumbbells! I've tried some Sydney Cummings videos and loved them but wondering if others exist out there!

Hi! My favourite is Move with Nicole, she has a lot of different varieties (mat, equipment, beginner, intermediate etc) they can easily be fit into a busy routine, if I can’t make it to the gym, I work out with one of these videos at home 🫶🏻 https://youtube.com/@movewithnicole?si=fJhB2Dis-k0c1vZQ
