Welcome to The Forge: This Is My Why
Hey there & welcome to The Forge Community! Here's a little information about me: My name is Shawn Kitzman, and I'm the Founder of The RBLD Project. I've lived an active life with over 30 years of martial arts, weightlifting, and skateboarding, and it's definitely come with some bumps and bruises—two torn meniscuses, separated shoulders, and back and neck injuries. For years, I couldn't solve these problems. But it wasn't until I began using the ATG principles that I was able to reverse my injuries and solve my pain. Now, I can still train Jiu Jitsu three days a week with training partners 10-30 years younger than me and not feel like I got run over by a truck. My journey as a Massage Therapist and Movement Coach, which began in 2000, taught me how to work with a wide range of athletes—from elite youth athletes and adult endurance athletes to a few professional athletes. I learned how to help them overcome their injuries and exceed their physical potential. This is the inspiration for RBLD. I'm here to help high-achieving men and women over 40 rebuild their bodies and charge into the future with confidence. This community is a place for people who aren't going to "grow old gracefully" but are going to live a life of adventure, be active and Kick Father Time's Ass! What about you? Let's get started.
Introduction
Hello everyone! My name is Angie Zuniga. I'm originally from Costa Rica, currently living in South West Florida. I'm about to be 33 years old next December 11th. I'm a Florida Realtor, I used to be a Hairstylist and I have a Background in Costa Rica's Laws (Costa Rica's Lawyer student) I'm hoping I can find relive to my DAILY autoimmune pain. I suffer from Sjogren's Disease. It doesn't have a cure, can affect organs, body dryness, joint and muscle pain, and so so many other problems. I have go through 4 hip surgeries due Osteonecrosis (2 hip repair 2022, filling femoral head with artificial bone and 2 hip replacements due failure to repair the hip, left hip on dec 2024 with nerve injury and right hip on April 2025) I was taking Oxy from December to July due the amount of pain I was dealing with, using a commode, a walker, a cane until I could walk by my self after months. Since December I've been dealing with autoimmune flares and its really hard to keep going with mobility because of extreme fatigue and pain. I know Shawn from another Community we have in common, he's an amazing guy, I have the opportunity to met him in person and all I can tell, this is one of those persons you want to be surrounded. A wise man, a inspiration and a great human being. Thank you for having me in this community, looking forward to connect with other members! šŸ˜„
Big Shout Out To Jerry!
Hey Gang! One of the biggest changes in my life has been finding people who can help me organize, create and deliver on a better experience for the RBLD Project community. In my previous working life I did everything on my own. There were things that I knew was terrible at & I either did them (which often failed) or I avoided them all together. The end result of this was a lot of misery on my end as I wasn't happy with what I produced & a less than optimal experience for my clients. About 3 years ago @Jerry Rivera started working with me and he has been a massive help. He very willingly will put up w/sudden changes in what we are doing/have done- Example: After I hit end last night in VIP I have been going over how the 2 sessions went and this morning while shoveling snow I decided we needed to make a massive shift in the tone of our entire slide deck. What that means for Jerry is that he is going to have to recreate all of the slides for this challenge. The best part is that he does it with a smile on his face & also does a FAR BETTER job of it than I would... So, please give Jerry a well done in the comments. All of the backstage RBLD Community stuff you all see is from his hard work & talent.
