How’d Your Weekend Go?
Hey MRC Crew! Happy Monday morning! How’d your weekend go? It was pretty 🄶 here this weekend so we stayed inside for most of the weekend. I’m hoping we get a little warmer weather soon & more snow so Melissa and I can go snowshoeing. I made this great chicken thigh/broccoli sheet pan recipe last night. It was quick to prep -though I would probably let the chicken sit in the marinade for longer, took about 40-45 min in the oven and tasted great! Definitely adding it to the rotation especially if I’m crunched for time.

Yum…that recipe looks delicious @Shawn Kitzman ! We had a pretty chill wkend here as well. Cold, and lack of snow left us with indoor training, as well as catching up on highlights from last week’s cycling tour down under in Australia. The warm temps there have me longing for summer. 😃
Wins For Week 1-19-1-25
Hey MRC Crew! It's Friday & that means it's time to look back over the week and celebrate our wins! Here are mine. Drop yours in the comments below! Personal - Had a great week in the gym this week & hit a number of PRs- Here's a set of Powell raises 1x10@15#. I can remember when 5# felt like super heavy.... - Had a really good Jiu Jitsu practice yesterday - Had a date night with Melissa on Wednesday- We went and saw Song Sung Blue. Great movie, sad but very good. Professional - @Jerry Rivera really came through this week and made a huge improvement for Collective Members with an upgrade as to how The Compass is delivered & integrating it into the rest of the Outlier Operating System (OOS) - Jerry and I had a great call with @Eric Hodgdon this week. We discussed further improvements to my new IG/FB strategy and the email campaign we are using - My new IG/FB strategy has generated 4 1-1 calls this week from old clients/colleagues Remember we celebrate our wins each week to protect our confidence and to keep our momentum going. No wins are "too small" and posting them may inspire someone else to keep going when things get rough.

I’m seeing small weight gains each week in my blueprint under the collective group. Also with the addition of a hip rotation exercise several times daily , I’m experiencing less hip and morning heel pain, which I’ve had in some capacity for nearly a year and a half! Thanks @Shawn Kitzman! Your programming is awesome!
Are you challenges in life helping you have fun?
I get it most people will say "well the challenges made things harder for me and it made me unhappy" but did you know that from monitoring and assessing the mental health of over 100 special forces members they found that those who saw the challenges as good things, were able to make more moments of fun and not need any support and performed 20x better than their colleagues, thats right x20. For those who saw the challenges as negatives the majority left with depression, needed additional support for prolonged periods of time and did not perform at the level of colleagues. When asked why they looked at the challenges differently, the simple answer was "why see the negatives in it" or "life is too short" I cannot pretend to be a champion in this, but it certainly made me think differently about challenges and how I see them, which got me thinking about if we all saw them as positives what would the world look like. How do you see them and how do you think you could make them look better for you?

I love a challenge, and am notorious for going ā€œall inā€ with whatever I do. Success is built by navigating the ups, downs, twists and turns of any journey. It’s all part of the ride, and what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.! šŸ˜€
What's Your Favorite Place To Travel To?
Hey MRC Crew! As the group grows outside of my friends/peers/colleagues it would be great to learn more about you all. So here's a fun question to get to know you better. Where is your favorite place(s) to travel to? For me my favorite place I've been that I want to go back to time and time again is Traverse City, Michigan (which is where Melissa and I will eventually live) My favorite place I think I've been on vacation was Costa Rica. I loved the region, people & vibe of it all. So, where is your favorite place to visit/travel to? I'll add some pics from both places in the comments.

For me, it’s Sedona Arizona! Not a place I would desire living year round, but spring and fall months are absolutely fabulous! My husband and I visit every few years, and have hiked every trail accessible without an ATV.

I’ve kept a training log for years! Tracking progress is key! AND if there’s a setback, I can trace back to what ā€œmayā€ be attributing.
