Sunday Shift: post & grow here is happening in 4 days
I Need You're Help Sharing The Love
Hey friends 🤍 I’ve received so many kind messages, thank-yous, and growth wins since this community started, and I never want to assume consent to share them publicly. So I’m asking instead. If this space has helped you in any way, a quick comment below would mean so much to help others find their way here.If you comment, I’ll take that as consent to share publicly (I’ll black out last names for extra anonymity). Huge thank you to @Jakolien Sok for being an early yes 💛 Not sure what to write? Short and sweet is perfect. You could answer one of these: • What’s your favourite part of this community? • What breakthrough have you had from committing to Sunday Shift? • How does this space feel different from others you’ve been in? Thank you for being here. Truly. I'm tagging a few you who have shared gratitude in the past. @Solenne Séguin , @Anya Grace Krasnov @Elfina Luk @Lisa Kilby @Nadia Quraishi @Rebecca Bautista @Ke-Ke Lee @Narissa Daisy @Hannah Snelling @Suzanne Rochon @Catherine Paz @Tania Burgess @Priscilla Bilbrey Thank you! I appreciate you.
Future morning Mélanie is super grateful
1 of these shake bags will last 1-3 days worth of shakes depending on how many of the family team is wanting one. And i have enough to last a couple months. Took less then 30 minutes with welcomed kidstractions 😂 But if you like shakes and *this* feels too much that's ok. For a slight premium but cheaper than take out I've seen shake packs sold in the freezer section or by subscription. Anyone else do this? What's your favorite recipe? Systems > willpower

Win for this week 🥹 wish i'd done this sooner
For those following along with my Sunday Shift, my focus has been hitting the next level with meal planning. I’m in week one of a simple dinner rotation. I made a Week 1 menu, I’ll build Weeks 2–4, then just loop back to Week 1. That’s it. I’m only three days in and honestly… this feels like a huge win. What’s wild is realizing I’ve probably spent way more time thinking about doing this than it actually took to do. If it took an hour, that would be an exaggeration. This was possible because it’s a stacked skill, I already know which recipes work for our family. I’m still the one making dinner most week nights, but having the menu on the fridge has completely lifted the mental load. On Monday I know which freezer meals to move up, which ones to pull the night before, which meals aren’t freezer meals, and what staples I already have. So many little friction points just… disappeared. And the reminder I keep coming back to: it doesn’t have to be complicated. Taco Tuesday can just be Taco Tuesday. Most meals can be made more or less metabolic-health-friendly without changing the meal. My big 3 focuses is protein, fiber and veggies... that usually nidhes the recipe were i need it for myself most of the time. That’s it. Simple systems really do change everything. Would a meal planning implementation workshop be of interest?

A consistency powerhouse move...
Wearing my favourite, prettiest, most expensive shoes tonight 🤣 It’s not what is the best exercise for PCOS, insulin resistance, fill in the blank. It’s what movement brings me joy and what I’ll want to do over and over and over again. I hadn’t skated regularly since graduating university. This September, with a nudge from a friend, I signed up for a weekly session all season and I’m so grateful I’m back. It fills so many buckets in so many ways. AND I’m just getting over my fear of falling and started doing some of my double jumps again 🙃 Anything you did as a kid you could try again? Anything you wanted to do as a kid but never did? I’m so proud of an adult figure skating learner I met. She said her parents wouldn’t let her do it as a kid, and now that she’s an adult… she’s doing it herself 🥹 Any movement that fills more than one cup? That’s more than an exercise checkmark? Saturday Vibes
Family time and Date night with my hubby! Date night with my hubby is honestly one of my biggest systems win of 2025! We had this great babysitter but planning ahead .. Meant ... it rarely happened. Then I thought. What if we committed to the first Saturday of the month? Reoccurring predictable date night. We can always move one when we have to, but NOW the default is a monthly, reoccurring date night. Well guess what my friend? This is date night # 4 ... it worked. It was not an intention problem, it was a mental load capacity + systems problem So many of our health goals are a little less about us and a little more about the systems that make it easier or harder. Putting this one in the WINS category... because relationships (all of types of relationships not just the partnership ones) play a huge role in your overall health. 🫶 Mel What are your Saturday vibes and what 2025 win are you most proud of?
