But today marks the first proper evening out on my Majorca holiday where I can get dressed up for a gorgeous oceanside restaurant and I feel incredible now my new summer wardrobe is truly in full swing! I know I look like a Charles Tyrwhitt store threw up on me, but hey, I love their stuff! Tonight I’m piecing together: - CT Linen slim fit collarless shirt with rolled sleeves - CT Linen navy shorts - Brown leather Anson belt - Brown leather strapped Vincero Chrono watch - Mahogany loafers from Thursdays (now broken in and comfier than ever!) - Straw trilby hat I’m looking forward to getting the rest of my summer wear in full swing over the week. My guess is that the camera won't accurately capture the differences between the pattern and share of blues in the vest and slacks, but they are sufficiently different to let me feel comfortable wearing them together. Today in the office is a continuation of (A) getting the website ready for launch by the end of the week, (B) working on our largest proposal ever and how we do so as a team, and (C) putting the final touches on the investor plan which I will begin socializing with investors as early as next week. Lots of great work training for the staff, especially in the ever-important area of training scientists on business development processes. • Dress Shirt — DS-032 (Charles Tyrwhitt): Ocean blue Prince of Wales check with yellow and dark blue accents in a classic cotton cut. Point collar with 5" spread, French cuffs with adjustable barrel option. The Prince of Wales pattern adds sophisticated texture while keeping the overall look business-appropriate for video conferences. One thing I feel strongly about is when escorting our wives and girlfriends we need to show them respect. These days too many men don’t bother. I am not one of those men. I try to coordinate my outfit with my wife’s when ever we go out together. I ask Robin what she plans to wear and then coordinate to it. This morning I knew she was going to wear her lavender skirt with a lavender gingham blouse and purple fedora.I knew my lavender double breasted sports coat matches that skirt so that’s where I started. I wore a white dress dress.shirt with French cuffs and grey trousers u der it. From there the accessories included a vintage silk tie that was her father’s, blue derbies and blue straw fedora. What you don’t see is my socks match the jacket, plus I have on gold monkey paw cuff links and my Hamilton Boulton watch. Unfortunately we were not able to get a picture of us together. So gentlemen, make the effort to compliment your companion’s outfit with your own and make her shine.
