New favourite brand??
Happy Friday gents!! With temperatures climbing I’ve invested in 2 collars and co polos. Today, I went with a light blue polo, paired with the navy linen trousers I wore yesterday, straw trilby, aviators and Thursdays Loafers (still breaking them in - shoe trees arrived today 🤟). I’m incredibly surprised at how light these polos feel. I’m really liking the feel of the performance fabric too. It drapes very nicely and fits me very well. I’ve always stayed somewhat cautious of buying from brands I haven’t tried on in store, but I’m very happy with what I’ve got. I’m looking forward to buying from them again. I have my mates 30th tomorrow and he’s doing a house party, so my plan is to wear my other polo with some linen shorts, so watch this space. Have a great weekend gents!!

@Stephen Horner thanks Stephen. There’s a hat shop around the corner from my office I’d been meaning to venture to. They’re a little pricey, but figured it’s a long term investment. Very breathable which is ideal for a bald guy like myself 😁
Collars and great company
Hey guys! Hope you’re all having an incredible weekend. Yesterday it was my mates 28th birthday and he celebrated in the best way. Bbq and beers - what better? I went with my go to summer style. Navy blue Collars and Co polo. Beige linen shorts (kept me very cool). Thursday loafers - shoe trees have come in handy with breaking them in. Brown leather anson belt. Straw trilby. I showed up and my mates first response, “Dressed like a true London boy!” I’ll take that! I was a little sore headed this morning, but life can’t be all work, no play now, can it? 😉

What Style Choice Shouldn't Matter But Still Bothers You?
I'm watching the World Cup match featuring Mexico and South Korea, and keep finding myself cringing every time the South Korean head coach is shown. The problem (which shouldn't be a problem)? He's wearing a polo shirt with all the buttons buttoned... I don't know why, but I can't stand seeing a polo shirt with all the buttons buttoned. It's worse, to my eye, than a tailored jacket with all the buttons buttoned. I honestly have no idea why it bothers me so much, but it does. So, what say ye? What style choice - or choices - bother you that really shouldn't?

For me, it has to be when the second button on a 2 button blazer is done up, but the top one isn’t. As I’m walking to the office through London, I can’t help to look at other men and the styles they’re sporting, but I see this a lot. It always stands out to me and I just think, “why dude?”
Finishing off the week!
Good evening! For those who saw my previous post, I commented that I was going to post my outfits for the rest of this week, so here we are. Yesterday it was a navy blue linen shirt, with beige linen trousers. Today, it was a white linen shirt with navy blue linen trousers, with a straw trilby and classic aviators. I’m still breaking in my Thursday Boots loafers, which despite me ordering a size 11.5 as per all my other shoes and boots, I’ve had to invest in some blister plasters and shoe trees.
Finishing off the week!
Linen over cotton
Good evening gents! With temperatures rising in London I decided it was time to finally give linen the chance it deserves. Having only worn linen shirts, opting for linen trousers to match was new to me. But, it was a chance I was willing to take. In my commute, I found myself feeling incredibly comfortable and even told some workmates how relieved I felt when I took a chance on something new. I couldn’t help noticing how many men were still wearing heavier cotton shirts and full suits. Many looked far less comfortable than they probably wanted to be. For this outfit I went with: - Oatmeal collarless linen shirt — Charles Tyrwhitt - Navy linen trousers — Charles Tyrwhitt - Brown leather belt — Anson Belt - Brown loafers — Thursday Boots - Black no-show socks - Vincero Chrono with brown alligator leather strap What surprised me most was how comfortable the outfit remained throughout the day while still feeling suitably smart for the office.

@Antonio Cent thank you! It does feel like a cheat code, but it hits Antonio’s style pyramid perfectly! As for the loafers, in the comment above you’ll see that it’s taken me almost 2 weeks to break them in. I’ve purchased some shoe trees on Amazon which I hope will help. But yeah, I’ve just had to nip out and grab some blister plasters.

@Devin Christensen good shout! I’m guessing in the winter months you just layer up with sweaters/jumpers?
