Morning guys! I need some advice. While we’re still in summer, I’m starting to think ahead for autumn/fall which has got me planning on upgrading my denims. All my jeans are from Next, which while they’re great for the money, don’t tend to last that long and I’d like a pair which can be styled up with a white oxford shirt and brown double monks, but can also be paired with a great leather jacket and black T-shirt, maybe a jumper/sweater too. Where can you guys recommend? I’d love to get some opinions.

Good morning, gents! I’m back at work this week, and with the summer heat (plus carrying a rucksack), I’m trying to avoid the dreaded sweat-stained shirt. It feels like a problem we’ve all been battling for years. I’ve already switched to linen shirts, which definitely helps keep me cooler, but it doesn’t completely solve the problem. Here’s my dilemma: if I wear an undershirt, I end up feeling even hotter and sweating more. If I skip the undershirt, I still sweat and risk staining my white and light blue shirts. So what’s the best solution? Are there any tricks, fabrics, or products you’ve found that genuinely help keep shirts looking fresh in hot weather? My only other option is turning up to the office shirtless… but I suspect HR might have a few questions. 😅

Today I spent the morning on the beach, but the afternoon I set myself a goal of finding the best pina colada in town - sensibly spaced out throughout the day, of course! 😄 Here’s what I put together: - Charles Tyrwhitt plain white polo - Charles Tyrwhitt navy linen shorts with braided leather belt - Thursday loafers with no show socks - Vincero Chrono wristwatch - Straw trilby - Ray Ban aviators If you’ve seen my other posts from this week, you’ll notice my accessories don’t vary much, but sticking with those accessories and changing the main attire, has kept the shirts, polos, shorts etc elevated. Plenty of cocktails, great food, live music and time in the sea - a couple of exciting nights watching the football too.
