Doing the Friday half-day school pickup, and my car told me it was 46 Celsius / 115 Fahrenheit at midday. Summer has definitely arrived in Dubai! I made the switch from sock pandemonium to sock nirvana. I trimmed away 46 pairs of socks to leave almost nothing but OTC and some very low rise socks to wear with shorts. The hit on my outfit combinations was massive. I went from 39 sextillion to 12 sextillion, just from the removal of socks! Granted, it was a lot. I set them aside for my boys to eventually take them on as nearly all were purchased in the last 2 years.
