The Roman Empire was the first civilization in human history to have hygiene practices. Even during military campaigns, they had engineers specialized to maintain hygiene and prevent soldiers from possible diseases. Here we can see a public bathhouse; while I was visiting, I thought of the many younger people and older adults who simply don’t take baths at all. Imagine being in a public restroom and the smell actually getting better because the guy who doesn’t bathe just left. Or having to stop people from sitting next to me because you can’t stand the awful smells they carry. Now I look at this system for supplying clean water and hot water, which allows many people to simply sit down, take a deep breath, relax, and treat their bodies and minds. Civilizations should progress, but apparently everyone’s selfishness speaks louder. Because I’m the one who is fine, and others have to accept me as I am! Even though we live in communities, where human beings impose rules and limits for their own safety and the others’

When you look at yourself in the mirror ... When you choose an item of clothing to wear in the morning ... When you choose an item of clothing to buy from a shop or an online store ... What are you hoping to achieve? Do you want to look like you fit in with what you perceive 'your type of person' to be? Do you want to stand out from others who are 'your type of person'? Do you want to look strong and dependable? Artistic and sensitive? Mature and wise? Sexy and attractive 'in that way'? What is your 'goal' beyond keeping warm and not being arrested for indecency?

What to say in your intro? Share where you're from, your reason for joining, perhaps your favorite fragrance, watch or a picture of you dressed sharp! It's a small action, but a HUGE step in you getting value from this community becasue you go from being a lurker to an ACTIVE member. Likely after January, I will be fully work from home after a couple years fully on site. It will influence my dress, as I dress for impressions. I will use video call, so grooming will need to be good, and the shirt can still impress. I am considering what camera angles can reveal more of the outfit to show off more. A full side view from a tripod? A carefully placed mirror. Pic-in-pic two angles? Innovative choices that gain favorable noteriety sound good to me.
