Some interesting meetings today. The blazer here is a weird one. I've had it up before. It's a super dark midnight blue that is as close to black as seemingly possible. I didn't get a great pic out the outfit (too bright) but I've paired it with mid-grey slacks. Outfit Jacket — DOJ‑006 (Brooks Brothers): A midnight‑blue Brooks Brothers blazer in medium‑weight wool with full acetate lining and traditional rope‑padded shoulders. The deep navy and brass buttons create an unmistakably classic executive silhouette ideal for VC leadership days. We are all in different places and walks in life. Some of us have a good understanding, some of us are still learning. Your environment can affect your attitude and approach. What is perfect for one would be out of place for another. My environment is supposedly work-appropriate attire, but all too often I see people looking like they're ready for Walmart. I've seen directors show up to interview prospective employees in T shirts, raggedy jeans and tennis shoes. Because of this, I'm not wearing a suit to work. If I did, I'd fit in even less than I do now. I'm one of the better dressed men in my building, even though some here would consider my outfits casual.
