Todays fit for a morning out with some family. Took these after getting home so the shirt could do with an iron. -Light Blue Shirt -Navy Suspenders -Charcoal Trousers -Grey/Silver/Navy tie -Black Shoes -Stone Raincoat -Gold and Silver Watch -Dog watching me in the background

Question
When you look at yourself in the mirror ... When you choose an item of clothing to wear in the morning ... When you choose an item of clothing to buy from a shop or an online store ... What are you hoping to achieve? Do you want to look like you fit in with what you perceive 'your type of person' to be? Do you want to stand out from others who are 'your type of person'? Do you want to look strong and dependable? Artistic and sensitive? Mature and wise? Sexy and attractive 'in that way'? What is your 'goal' beyond keeping warm and not being arrested for indecency?

For me it depends on the situation. If it’s work, then I want to look sharp, well put together, and dependable. I want the people around me to see me as someone they can rely on, not someone who looks like they’ve just thrown on whatever and couldn’t be bothered to be there. But if it’s a date, or a social situation like meeting friends for a meal or drinks, then I want to stand out. On a date I want to dress in a way that she remembers. Something that sets me apart from other men, even if its just something small. And with friends, I like being the one people notice a bit rather than just blending into the background. I’ve never really liked just disappearing into the crowd.

OOTD June 25th
Day trip to Austin today. Actually been off a week now. Stay cation. Charles Tyrwhitt sage linen shirt with rolled sleeves over tan Twillory performance shorts. Brown Anson belt with silver buckle and brown suede Beckett Simonon Reid sneakers with no show Ondo socks. Vincero S2 Chronograph and Scent Reserve inspired by Spice Bomb. Almost forgot to mention my Stetson Aficionado hat. Jerry, I'm bald! Did a brunch, escape room, and tour Texas Capitol. Lots of walking.

I always think some people can't pull it off, myself included, and others look great. With those colors and that style you really pull it off though brother
