Weekend Woes
Last couple of weeks have been difficult for me because my knees are getting worse as I come closer to getting my right replaced September 2nd. But, until then I’m learning to deal with the back pain associated them and walking up/down stairs is a chore in itself. Today I needed to get my left knee drained to help me walk better and reduce the pain. 100cc of fluid came out and a cortisone injection. I don’t know how a lot of you feel but I think growing old is definitely not for sissies! Enjoy the weekend

My day in court
Another day in OKc at the courthouse. This one was a success. The judge awarded my wife the ability to help a struggling family member who is presently at my home getting the necessary medical and psychiatric help needed. My wife has worked nightly for three months for this day. I would like to think the fact that she and I showed up respectfully dressed helped her case a little bit. (After 3 hours of watching one after another case getting postponed for guardianship we were the only successful one all day with this very demanding judge). But I am sure the good work by the attorney and preparation by my former para legal wife had a lot to do with it as well. A well dressed couple facing legal issues will always present honesty and integrity to the judge IMO
Bad Fall, Nice Recovery
As I’ve posted I’ve been dealing with back and knees problems. Yesterday I unfortunately had a fall on an uneven cobblestone street. Because I’m on a blood thinner a fall always brings threat of a brained bleed. Fortunately, I was able to break my fall with my palms and had a bruised palm and scraped knee. No headache or swelling. The big takeaway was a group of strangers stopped to offer me aid one couple even offered to take me to a medical center. What a nice gesture with all the negativity in the country. Enjoy the weekend

Feeling Better
Hi everyone. As I’ve posted I’ve dealt with my share of medical issues recently so today I had both of my knees receive aspiration and cortisone injections to relieve swelling and pain. Last few weeks have challenged my mobility but this should help me for my visco supplement in two weeks. I’ll be back posting more regularly
