Week three of the knee replacement. at physical therapy this morning my therapist told I have a 10% increase in my extension and my range of motion went from 79 to 100. Being ahead of schedule makes it easier to accept that I’m still several months away from recovery, but I’m closer to driving myself and wearing regular clothing, a watch and fragrance soon. Hi Everyone. Since I had my knee replacement surgery 10 days ago, I’ve basically been pretty immobile and unable to leave the house. Today was the first day I was independently able to shower which I am very grateful for. As a result I’ve basically been living in lounging pajamas and tee shirts while navigating everywhere with my walker and starting today, a cane. Having my post op meeting with my doctor this Monday after my regular PT, I’m hoping to get a real grade of progress and if my knee is bendable enough, the green light to drive and do light activities again. Can’t wait to slip on a pair of slacks, casual shirt, watch, bracelet and fragrance and meet the world again. I know full well recovery is months away but every little step is truly appreciated. While not specifically "style". I just wanted to share a quick reminder to people about seeing the positive and any type of "wins" you may have, are having or will be having. Just taking a moment to appreciate that I'm able to be travelling today. ✈️ What are some of your "wins" recently?

Well the time finally came for my knee replacement. Scheduled for 7:00am I arrived at 5:30am for pre-op. The actual surgery only took 40 minutes but I’ll be in the hospital overnight. It’s now 3:30pm as the spinal has been wearing off and even with receiving pain meds the pain is still quite intense. The staff wants to start my PT by getting up and walking and I am trying to gear myself to deal with that as the first step in a long PT recovery. If anyone has dealt with this I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you

Over the last two years, I have purchased several pair of used Allen-Edmonds shoes, all via thrifting eBay, and Poshmark. With Jeff Plotka’s newest post about his awesome AE acquisition, I wanted to inquire from the experts…do all AE shoes come from the factory with complete soles, as in the first picture? If that is true, I assume the second photo shows a pair of re-soles? The second pair are AE Jeffersons for sale on wBay, which has me wondering. Thanks for any input!
