I just got in couple of small sample/decant orders, including Erba Gold, since I liked it in the past, but wanted to revisit it. I thought it would be great to wear on a day off, running errands, with So Fla temps ranging from 53 to 74 deg. It opens with a blast of everything: citrus, apple, light floral, amber, musk, a hint of woods & smooth spice. It quickly settles down, as cardemom becmes prominent, getting sweeter as it dries. At first, I thought it was a tobacco note, but apparently cardemom and wood blends can smell similar to it. Over the first hour, it becomes beautifully blended and completely smooth fresh, fruity, aromatic, woody, and ambery. I'm expecting mild sillage for at least 6+ hours. Have a great day brothers!
