Chuck Norris
For anyone who hasn't yet seen the news, Chuck Norris passed away today. I met him once back in 2012. He was a genuinely nice man and loved his fans and had a great sense of humor. A friend of mine opened a coffee shop called Kick Butt Cafe and he decorated it with tons of images of Chuck and had posters and photos of him everywhere. Chuck was kind enough to sign an autograph and mention the place to his fans, and it made my friend's entire year. So in honor of the man, the myth, the legend, I'd love for anyone who was a fan to 1). Post what you cologne you think he would have worn (I don't know if he did or not, but I'm guessing that his natural body scent was it's own perfume) 2). Post your favorite Chuck Norris joke. He was known to tell a few of his own and enjoyed hearing good ones, so I don't think it would be disrespectful, and it's a way to honor him and the joy he brought to millions of fans over a lifetime.

@Stephen DeMent that’s exactly why I included it. It is so way over the top.
New Release Torino 25.
After waiting months for it to arrive at my local stores, I finally had the chance to test Torino 25 on skin, and the results were not what I expected. When I smelled it on paper and in the air last week, it seemed very promising; however, today’s skin test was a total disappointment. To my surprise, the fragrance actually triggered a migraine. The listed notes include rhubarb, grapefruit, ginger, and saffron at the top, followed by juniper, suede, and leather in the heart, with a base of amber, vetiver, and musk. Despite that profile, all I could detect was a sharp, "screechy" mix of saffron and suede/leather. While I can usually wear leather notes, this particular blend just isn't for me. I couldn't even get through a full breakdown because I had to wash it off to manage the migraine. I know some of you might really enjoy this one or may even consider it a masterpiece, but for me, at this point, it is a pass. I’ll give it one more try eventually just to ensure I wasn't already in the middle of a flare-up, but after the disappointment of T23, I’ve decided I won't buy this just for the sake of completing the collection.

AMBRE LEVANT SOTD !!! Some quick thoughts. Worn twice!!!
Spent some time with Ambré Levant and this one leans very much into that warm, resinous amber profile with a slightly modern polish. Right off the top, you get a smooth, slightly sweet amber that feels rich but not overly dense or suffocating. To me, it’s more on the refined and airy amber side rather than dark, smoky, or heavy. There’s a soft glow to it—almost like sunlit amber instead of deep, churchy resin. It has a subtle sweetness, but it never goes gourmand or sticky. Everything feels well blended and easy to wear. As it dries down, it gets creamier and a bit more skin-like. The projection settles fairly quickly into a personal bubble, but it leaves a nice scent trail early on. It’s one of those fragrances that smells high quality without screaming for attention. Performance (on my skin): • Projection: Moderate for the first hour or two, then closer to the skin • Sillage: Soft but noticeable early • Longevity: Solid 6–8 hours, becomes a skin scent in the later stages When I’d wear it: • Best in cooler weather or evenings, but honestly versatile enough for Arizona “ 65-90 degree weather” • Works great dressed up or even casually if you want something smooth and put together Overall: This isn’t a loud or overly complex amber—it’s more about wearability and refinement. If you’re expecting something dark, spicy, or beast mode, this might feel a bit tame. But if you want a clean, elegant amber that sits nicely on the skin and smells classy without trying too hard, this is a really solid pickup.
