Side by Side Review Acqua di Parma
Many of you asked for an immediate review on the two Acqua di Parma Fragrances that I picked up yesterday, so here is my initial impressions based on a 2 hours wear. First I would like to let everyone know that these fragrances were not cheap and I paid full price ($350 each) for 50ML bottles (only size available). As a collector of Acqua di Parma fragrances, it made sense to get them, and I personally wanted to get them first. I am blessed to be able to make purchases like this and really enjoy sharing my blessings with my family, friends, and Brothers! Introducing Acqua di Parma Zafferano Ambrosia - Extrait de Parfum (30% Concentration) and Acqua di Parma Gelsomino A Freddo Ambrosia - Extrait de Parfum (30% Concentration). You can definitely tell these are an Extrait de Parfum by the sheen of oil left on the skin. Ambrosia is defined as ā€œThe food of the Godsā€, so the meaning in the naming methodology here is to indicate that the scent is not of this world. Zafferano Ambrosia (Not on Fragrantica yet) The opening is a strong Orange scent. At 15 minutes the citrus blast has settled down and I am picking up a creamy spiciness from the Ginger note. At 30 minutes I am starting to get the Leather/Floral scent from the Saffron mixed with the Citrus and Ginger. 60 minutes, at this point into the wear I am getting the sweetness from the Vanilla and Amber, but can still also smell the Saffron (the dominant note of this fragrance). At 120 minutes the dry down of this fragrance is a soft floral and semi-sweet scent that is well balanced and strong, but not overbearing. This fragrance has had movement since the initial spray and it may continue to change as the wear continues. Gelsomino A Freddo Ambrosia The opening is a blast of Frankincense. At 15 minutes I am starting to pick up some of the spiciness from the Cardamom. At 30 minutes I am picking up a green accord that is helping to settle the spiciness from the initial opening. I am also starting to pick up on the Myrrh note. 60 minutes, at this point into the wear I an getting a creamy and powdery accord that is soft and subtle. I am getting some of the woody notes and the fragrance is balancing out. At 120 minutes dry down of this fragrance is a citrusy, yet creamy and slightly powdery scent profile with dry and soft woods lingering in the background. There is definitely movement to this fragrance so this continue to change as the wear continues.

SOTBT Part I - Teriaq Intense by Lattafa
Tonight my wife and I went to the House of Dubai in Rosemont to see their Xerjoff event. The place was packed and the Xerjoff representative spent some time with me going over some bottles that were exclusive to Europe but available tonight only. None of the European fragrances really got me too excited but he also showed me the Alexandria II Anniversary issue and Homme Anniversary. I thought both were really something special, and then I asked my wife what she thought. She gave me the look... You know, the lookšŸ˜‘ accompanied by "It's not my favorite, but if you want to get it, get it." I think we all know what that means. Long story short; I left empty-handed and we went home and had take-out pizza. She asked me to put on "that fragrance that (she) liked from yesterday." So that's what I did, and she said I smelled really good. Don't get me wrong, I like this stuff. It was a blind buy at Burlington for about $30 a few months ago. Tonight was the first time I actually put it on. It's gourmandy and in the same neighborhood as the Khamrah line, but different enough. Quentin Bisch is the perfumer on this, so it's of very decent quality. It IS good and in all likelihood I'll get that Xerjoff Homme Anniversary at some point in the future. If you're into gourmandy/ vanilla fragrances, you'll probably love this stuff and, in all fairness it's much more complex than just a gourmandy fragrance. Again, it's pretty good and you'll get compliments.

I Need Your Thoughts and Opinions
I’ll be picking up a few Fall and Winter Fragrances in preparation for this Jersey weather I was undecided on two fragrances I had in mind when looking over some reviews of the two it seems as if they may be redundant, JPG Le Male Elixir and Le Male Elixir Absolute, does it make sense to own the two or do you feel they may be redundant to each other šŸ¤”
