SOTD: Dior Paradise
The initial opening is a blast of citrus notes. At 15 minutes I am still getting citrus with some of the Almond note starting to come through. At 30 minutes I am still getting some of the citrus notes, but the Almond is becoming much more present. I am also starting to get some of the sweetness from the Syrup. 60 minutes into the wear, I am still picking up some of the Almond note, but i am also getting some of the sweetness from the Tonka Bean. The dry down of this fragrance is a sweet and woody scent coming from the Tonka, Almond, and woody notes. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is Good with the fragrance creating a scent bubble of about 2 Feet for about 2+ Hours. The sillage is also Good with a scent trail of about 2.5 feet for over 2 hours. Longevity is Good with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 6 to 7 hours, but becoming a skin scent at about 3 hours.

005 Riviera Absolue / Bon Parfumeur — just arrived last evening and after a test sniff I decided to make it my SOTD. This stuff is gorgeous, bright citrus off the top with the finger lime giving a not-too-sweet toned down lemon drop feeling balanced by a very subtle/earthy tomato leaf. Neroli and a spicy ginger combine with the cardamom to bring in more green lemongrass/earthy attributes and the dry down of black tea/olibanum turn this a shade darker while the sweetness stays but moves to the background. First reviews online are crying “Imagination Clone” but nothing could be further from the truth, or maybe a distant cousin of L Homme Ideal Forte, but that is one I haven’t gotten my nose on, so I can’t say … This could make it into my summer-early fall line up as a signature scent easily … First wearing - performance 9+… the first 2-3 hours great projection ( at least 6’ ) by hours 4-5 a good scent bubble ( at least arms length ) then not quite a skin scent by hour 9

I really enjoy Bon Parfumeur fragrance. Will need to pick this one up as it sounds amazing - you had me at Neroli and Ginger!
SOTD: LV city of stars
City of stars is my favorite floral scent as I hate florals in general but this is more of a white floral then a general yellow floral which I hate Louis Vuitton did a great job with this, it’s a fresh sweet powdery scent that’s really soft and relaxing. Does give a sandy sunscreen sandy vibe. I don’t know why this gets so much hype from YouTubers and then so much hate from the viewers 😉 Some of this has to do with the discontinuation Rumor.

This one is on my pick up list for sure.
SOTD: Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman
I have been really enjoying this fragrance lately. The opening of this fragrance is a semi-sweet fruity scent coming from the Pear and Mandarin Orange. At 15 Min - Some of the sweetness has settled and I am picking up some of the Ginger note. At 30 Min - I am still picking up some of the subtle fruitiness, but also getting some of the Orange Blossom note. 60 Min into the wear, I am still picking up the sweetness from the Orange Blossom but also getting some Musk and Woodiness. The dry down of this fragrance is a musky and woody scent with hints of semi-sweet florals. Performance: Projection is OK with the fragrance creating a scent bubble of about 2 feet for about 2 hours. The sillage is also OK with a scent trail of about 2.5 feet for about 2 hours. Longevity is fair with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 6 to 7 hours, but becoming a skin scent at about 3 hours.

Purpose 50 vs Decision
It’s a pretty hot day here so I cranked up the AC and actually got a little cold, and then I thought hey now I can wear some cool weather frags! So I’ve got 4 sprays of Decision on one arm and 4 of Purpose 50 on the other. I have been getting strong whiffs for HOURS, these things are nuclear and show no signs of stopping 5 hours into the wear. So far l, I think I prefer Decision… Purpose 50 is richer and evenly balanced to me — it’s dry woods, spice and oudy amber — whereas Decision is this interesting mix of aromatic woody spices but is somehow a little fresher and brighter, with an incense note and maybe the juniper sharpening things up. I think I like Decision’s juxtaposition of fresh aromatic and warm richness. I… don’t think that either have a place in my collection. I far prefer how addictive Outlands is to me and these just don’t get me as excited. But they are both very very rich and complex and I’m enjoying my nuclear cloud of rich wood and spice… so I think I’ll just work my way through these decants. Have y’all tried these?

I actually tested Decision the other day and it simply did not dry down well on my skin. I did not hate it, but simply did not love it either.
