To match the vibe, I reached for a fragrance from Aaron Terrence Hughes, a discontinued gem — Guapo Extreme. It doesn’t seem to get the same love as the original Guapo, which I honestly don’t understand, but that’s the beauty of perfumery. One person’s masterpiece can be another person’s pass, and that diversity of taste is what makes this journey so fun. I’m thoroughly enjoying it today. ATH continues to push the envelope of olfactory science, and when people call him the mad scientist of fragrance, I can absolutely see why. Guapo Extreme is a green, citrus-forward freshie with fantastic woody nuances underneath. Projection is great, sillage sits nicely around that 3–4 foot range, and longevity on my skin is a solid 8–9 hours. In my book, ATH does not miss — this one is a 9.0 all day long. Make today count, stay blessed, and as always… smell amazing doing it.
