Attrape-RĂȘves- Louis Vuitton
Went with this underrated masterpiece from Jacques Cavalier today. While this is marketed as a womenâs fragrance, iâve come to learn that gender in fragrance is more of a marketing tool to help define target audience better. Iâve reached a point where I just like what smells good lol, and this is no exception. This has actually become one of my favorite Louis Vuittonâs, up next to Pacific Chill, Ombre Nomade, City of Stars, and LâImmensite. Itâs this really pretty blend of florals, with rose and peony, with litchi in the opening, and a subtle cacao and patchouli drydown. Itâs fairly linear in its development, which as someone who loves proper openings, does NOT mind at all. It keeps this cozy, rosy aura and scent bubble throughout, and honestly smells like what you would expect it to from looking at the bottle. Performance is beyond exceptional for a fresh fragrance. I get an easy 8+ hours from it, projection is very noticeable, but not overwhelming either. Itâs suitable for a lot of occasions, whether it be office, out dancing, or a date. This one is nice because it hits that sweet spot that a lot of Louis Vuitton fragrances have, that I adore. Mass appealing and high quality, but not boring generic either. This one gets a lot of compliments, especially from women. I think wearing a fragrance like this actually makes a big impression on them. It shows your comfortable wearing what you like⊠and well, it just smells amazing. Iâve said it before and iâll say it again, this is a TOP fragrance for me from Louis Vuitton. Itâs soooo well blended, and smells both wealthy, elegant, and refined, yet youthful and fun. This hits all of the boxes for me, and is definitely a favorite litchi scent. Whether or not itâs up your alley, it is worth a shot to me, and honestly on my list of a full bottle consideration. Have a blessed day yall đ
