GNTONIC / M. Micallef — temps. are rising here in CO so I wanted to pull out a summer fragrance today, and what could be more summer than a gin & tonic ?

Supposedly a dupe of Creed’s “Virgin Island Water”, I really enjoy this for the price I paid. If Virgin Island Water is superior to this, I will make sure to buy it when I am in a better tax bracket. The citrus comes off more lime than mandarin orange. What I enjoy the most is about 45 mins in, the citrus is done projecting and this vanilla/coconut layer sets in (and I hate coconut) and it becomes a relaxing aroma. The conifer/musk sets in nicely but doesn’t project well. All hype about this being “beast mode” on my skin is fabricated, unless I need to let this sit a couple months. Good 6 hours out of this. 40$-50$ summer fragrance I give a solid 8/10. (My bottle isn’t blue like the pic)
