Good Morning Brotherhood! Today’s grab is Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum. Launched in 2022 by the nose of Sonia Constant, this one is a beautifully crafted powdery, Iris forward, Woody fragrance that shines in the fall. I was in the mood for something softer, with a touch of woody warmth, and this fit perfectly. To my nose, it’s fairly linear so what you spray is what you get. Think Dior Homme Parfum, but slightly toned down and smoother. Performance is solid: about 5 hours of longevity with decent projection, especially if you go in with 15–18 sprays. If you enjoy the Dior Homme DNA but want something a little more understated and soft, I’d definitely recommend giving this a shot. For me, it’s a 7.6/10. Honestly, Narciso Rodriguez as a house doesn’t get enough love. Their fragrances are seriously underrated. My wife has a few herself, For Her Parfum, For Her EDT (my personal favorite), and NARCISO Eau de Parfum Cristal, all absolute bangers. Have an amazing day, brothers. Take care of yourselves. Givenchy / Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée — I just don’t get the haters on this, I get a good 4-5 hours before it becomes a skin scent. This isn’t ment to be a room-filler or projection beast, it’s just a classy fragrance that you can dress up or down as you see fit.

Working from my home office today and I continue to test and review decants I have received. The opening is a blast of sweet Apple and Cinnamon. After 15 minutes, I am starting to pick up some of the darkness and dryness from the Leather note. At 30 minutes in, I am getting a deeper dryness from the Leather and Moss notes, with a very slight Rose/Floral undertone. 60 minutes into the wear, the fragrance has settled down nicely and I am getting a soft leathery and slightly (very light) spiciness off of my skin. The dry down of this fragrance is a slightly dry leather scent with some earthy undertones. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is moderate with a scent bubble of about 2 feet for about 2 hours. Longevity on my skin is about 7 to 8 hours with the fragrance becoming a skin scent at about hour 6. Sillage is a scent bubble of about 2 feet for about 90 minutes.

So after 22 days of fighting temptation, I went out with some co-workers to celebrate a huge success today and I failed my brethren. I knew I was in trouble when they said let's go to the Sawgrass Mall. Of course I stopped at my favorite perfume store that carries (and hold for me) discontinued fragrances and they were holding several from my list. I felt really bad for the salesperson and I told her I would take them (ALL). I want to apologize to my Brother's and especially to @Renato Carotti for not making it until the end of September.
