Yes, I fell for the hype and picked up a bottle of this last week. I gave it a quick spray yesterday and am giving it a full run today. An inspiration Of YSL La Nuit De L'Homme, but with better projection and longevity. (Shout out to Fragflex as this was waiting by my door when I got home from a weekend getaway to Montauk yesterday.) Now, I've never owned the OG but I have tried it on in Sephora a few months back and if memory serves the Riiffs gets pretty darn close. A classic cardomom blast that settles down with the lavender moving in on the dry down and a woody base. The differences I read on fragratica are the Riiffs added pepper to the top, geranium to the mid and tonka to the base. I'm assuming this is what makes the performance better because what I can remember of the OG, it was a very intimate projection that dries to a skin scent fairly quickly and disappeared after a few hours. The Riiffs on the other hand bumps everything up to moderate. Not a beast in any way, shape or form but is way better than the original. I've heard reviewers describe it as a take on the OG before reformulation and some even compare it to the discontinued Blue Electrique. All in all a great take on a classic that a lot of people consider to be one of the classiest date night fragrances a man can wear. For 30 bucks, it's a blind buy I'm happy with.
