SOTD - Prada Luna Rossa Ocean edt
Just got in a full tester bottle from Jomashop a few days ago. I've been eyeing this for some time since my decant is running low. Something about this one just hits right. Its fresh but powdery from that iris note which is my favorite, a unique take on a freshie that keeps me trying to smell myself - lol. The performance isn't the best but overspraying will help in that regard. It's one of those scents where I like it enough where the performance becomes a non issue. It joins Carbon and Black to become the one fragrance line that I have the most of.

Just received a 15 ml decant of this today. All I have to say is WOW!! One of the best and most photorealistic citrus fragrances I've put my nose on. With a few different citrus notes, some fresh basil and mint, the opening is simply addictive. Black current, lavender, Rosemary and thyme give it a wonderful balance of floral and spiciness in the mid. And a healthy dose of musk and vervain round out the base. Absolute masterpiece in my opinion! More than likely the next Xerjoff fragrance I'll buy a full bottle of. My first full Xerjoff bottle was Naxos. What was yours??

I grabbed a bottle of this a few weeks ago and love it.
If we had a chance to restart your collection
I have been going through my collection. So I have been collecting since 2010 so going on 16 years or there about. I am at 950 bottles of all shapes and sizes. Don’t get me wrong I love my collection, but With this large of a collection now I am finding myself lately not being able to give proper time to a new fragrances. I dove head first in being a completionist for quantity over quality. If I had it to do again, I probably would have done things a little differently. I probably if I had to do it again knowing what I know now would have attacked things differently. With everything starting to smell “the same” or a twist of what was popular for a different brand. Stick to 1 or 2 designer house for an everyday wear YSL or Chanel Stick to 1 or 2 clone house that I wear the most French Avenue or Afnan Stick to 1 ir 2 Niche house for Winter, Fall, Formal Parfums de Marly or Michael Malul Just wondering if you guys would think to manage you collections differently. This is for new collectors too, I would say have a game plan and disciplined. Both very hard to do in this hobby. LOL

I am currently close to 50 full bottles after only a year and a half of collecting. They almost fill up 3 3-tier display shelves. I've told myself that 50 is the max full bottles I will have at one time. If I want a new one, I will have to get rid of one. My decant number is expansive so that helps with cost and shelf space. The thought of having so many bottles where you might only wear one once or twice would drive me crazy.
Fragrances you like but your significant other can't stand
I have two questions for the group: 1. The "Scrubber" Dilemma: What is that one fragrance you absolutely adore, but your partner hates so much they want to open every window in the house and make you wash it off? 2. The Compromise: How do you handle wearing these polarizing scents? Do you only wear them when you're heading out alone, or have you found a way to "train their nose" to appreciate the more complex stuff without causing a headache? I've noticed my wife prefers my mass appealing designers and clones (what they were made to do and getting their job done) over most of my niche or more complex ones. This is a main reason a lot of my niche are decants. A good example is I really like Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special and Deified and would love full bottles in my collection but alas, she can't stand them and I will probably stick to the decants as I would only really wear them going out with my friends on a guys night.
