SOTD - Lattafa Vintage Radio (after letting it sit for a month)
I basically forgot about my decant of Vintage Radio the day after I got it and vowed not to wear it again. I don't know why, but my initial impression was that it smelled like a bird cage. š¤·āāļø Then I saw @Elliott Jones post yesterday about macerating Vintage Radio and that made me break out the decant and give it another whiff. After almost a month of sitting in a drawer, I gave it a spritz on the arm yesterday and wow, how that month made a difference. It seems so much more well blended, less funky, sweeter, the plum note stays longer and the dry down is actually really nice. Today, I'm giving it a full day of proper wear. To me, this is a prime example that maceration/maturation/oxidation (whatever you want to call it) actually works. On a side note, if I ever get a full bottle of this, I am SO transferring it to a different bottle. The bottle design (and name for that matter) is just the worst.
