Who Started It All For You?
Let’s show some brotherhood love this valentine weekend. Everyone probably has that one member of BOS who influenced them the most and added fuel to their fragrance passion. For me, the answer is obvious. @Julio Gutierrez is the one who truly kickstarted it all. Who’s that person for you?

Exhaustive Testing
I have family visiting and we decided to go through my niche collection (a couple designers included). The verdict, Dolce Melodia (Sospiro) was the favorite. Runner-up was Decision. I also pared down the collection a bit over the weekend by gifting to my family members.

SOTD: Dior Homme Intense
Hosting an open house with a realtor and this getup just screamed Dior Homme Intense. Has anyone ever had that happen when the outfit dictates the fragrance?

For Mr Clean and Fresh!!!! @Mike Penzenik Or anyone else interested LOL!
For my friend, @Mike Penzenik this line has blown me away, and Very inexpensive at discounters!!! The highest oils and the original twists make the scent profiles exceptional!!! I will start with the House of Jo Milano - Roll It 7 — Mediterranean citrus-aquatic. Bergamot/mandarin/sicilian orange over fresh marine accords + clean musk. - Game of Spades Full House — fresh citrus + spicy-neroli backbone. Bergamot/orange/citron → neroli/ginger/cinnamon → black tea/ambroxan/woods. - Game of Spades Bonus — sparkling citrus + minty-aromatic lift. Citron/mint/orange/lemon + black currant/coriander, then fruity-herbal heart, musky-fig/date drydown. - Game of Spades Emerald — bright grapefruit-bergamot + ginger + clean musk. Citrus/ginger up top, neroli/orange blossom in the middle, musky/ambrette base. - Game of Spades High Roller — fresh grapefruit/bergamot with warm-spicy edges. Citrus + black currant up top, then ginger/cinnamon/citron/cardamom, finishing with pink pepper + patchouli. - Roll It 1 — fruity-fresh mango/lemon/ginger with a warmer oud/musk/amber base (fresh opening, richer drydown). In the Middle East Category, I will give you this; it can also be substituted with Alexandria fragrances as a great clone or Montagne!!! - Amouage Reflection Man — the “expensive clean soap” vibe. - Amouage Beach Hut Man — minty-green fresh with niche character. Also in the inexpensive Middle Eastern category from Swiss Arabian and Gissah - Musk 01 (clean citrus + soft white musk) - Rose 01 (lychee/bergamot + rosy-musky) - Incense 01 (incense theme; more resinous than fresh) From the house of Gissah: 1) Capri Vibe: lemon + marine “out the shower” freshNotes: Sorrento lemon + marine notes + blue ginger, then sandalwood/apple/patchouli, drying to dry amber/vetiver/incense. 2) Calabria Vibe: crisp bergamot/green-apple fresh, smooth “clean woods” drydown. Notes: bergamot (and listed in details with pink pepper + green apple), cashmere/iris/patchouli, amberwood/tonka/vetiver.

Where Did the Passion Go?
Have you ever noticed how some members start off highly engaged.. posting their SOTDs, sharing hauls, debating notes, hyping new releases.. and then slowly fade away? They comment less. They post less. They log in rarely. Some quietly leave altogether. What changed? Is it collection saturation? Financial fatigue? Repetitive content? Toxicity or subtle hierarchy? Conflicts between personalities? Overly critical comments? Life priorities shifting? Or does the initial excitement simply evolve into something quieter and more personal? Fragrance is emotional. It’s identity. It’s connection. But even passion communities go through seasons. Let’s talk about it openly: What makes members lose enthusiasm? What shifts happen internally? What can a community do to keep the fire alive.. without forcing hype? Real discussion. No judgment. Just growth.

If i were to dumb it down it usually comes down to Money, time, personal issues/commitments and availability/resources. Even though we are super welcoming some may also feel excluded or out of place.
