Healthy Holiday Gifts
Curious what you all got for the holidays that ties back to your healthy lifestyle. Share in the comments below. Here's what we got: - Red Light Panel for our bedroom and office so we can turn off the lights at night and use the red lights instead - supports your eyes and gets you ready for a good night sleep. - EMF blankets - we got these for the kids b/c they lay in bed with laptops on their legs. They can now put them on these blankets and block out the bad EMFs - EMF Stickers for our phones - everyone in the family got these. - NADS - natural cotton underwear and shorts for men. - Infrared Sauna (Clearlight) with a red light panel - my favorite gift of all time. We've been in it every day since we got it. The kids are even using it. Sebastian (our 17 yr old) asked for: a kettlebell, a lunastone (gua sha stone), Alitura cologne (all natural, organic ingredients), Mini Theragun. Share yours....

@Hayley Foster cool, thanks. I was this close to buying a bunch of Aires products then stumbled onto a few YouTube videos questioning efficacy. Saw some good stuff about real Shungite stone too. Haven’t made any decisions. I think the big change personally so far has been trying to keep my phone on airplane mode whenever possible especially when Wi-Fi is available as EMF is way higher on cellular.

@Hayley Foster hear you on the clothing. Many chemicals are readily absorbed through the skin. There are brands out there with near identical fit and moisture wicking as we’re used to. I love my new Ryker shorts and my Tasc athletic shirts and will never go back to Lululemon or anything with polyester/synthetic.
End of Year
This is the toughest time of the year for many people to stay on track with goals. That's why setting standards is more achievable. When your eating, drinking, exercising and sleeping routine are the 'standard' you live by, falling off one day just means you'll get back at it the next. Set Standards, Not Goals for 2025. What are the standards by which you plan to live your life? For us, here's what we strive to live by: Exercise - at least 5 days a week - strength, movement, stretching Sleep - at least 7-8 hours a night Nutrition - CLEAN, unprocessed, real foods - 98% of the time Recovery - sauna 2-3x/week, red light 2-3x/week, compression 1-2/week, breath work at least 1-2x/week Gratitude - daily Fun - daily Hydration - half our body weight in water with LMNT salts for added electrolytes Growth - listen to a book or podcast at least 4-5 days/week Visualization/Manifestation - at least 5 days/week Meditation - daily (working on getting better with this one - we listen nightly and end up falling asleep to it but looking to make it more of a morning practice - even for just 10 minutes) What are your Standards? Please share below.

Monday Motivation
The Non-Negotiables A few years ago I attended a conference in Dallas. Brian and I were up early getting our workout in and on our way back we stopped for coffee and ran into a few of the other women I knew who were also there for the conference. One of them commented about the fact that we were 'up early and at the gym' even when we travel. I responded with - 'the gym is a non-negotiable'. They looked at me like I was nuts and used the word 'non-negotiable' in other conversations with me throughout the weekend. Why is having non-negotiables important? They are the things you're committed to NO MATTER WHAT. Life gets busy and we end up dealing with unexpected stress or last minute travel or some other curve ball that comes our way. The non-negotiables keep you grounded, balanced and feeling good even during the chaos. What are your non-negotiables? What are the things that no matter where you are, or how busy life gets, you stick to because they’re essential to your well-being?

Thanks @Hayley Foster, besides trying to keep active one thing I’ve been religiously consistent with and is nonnegotiable is my intermittent fasting w/ AM electrolytes and AG1 routine.
Fruit/Veggie Washing. This is a thing, right!?
As a parent with young kids there’s only so many things we can think about in the day and historically fruit and veggie washing was never one of them! It is easier to be oblivious and give a quick wipe/rinse. After installing reverse osmosis under the sink and a whole house filtration system which is a whole other topic, I finally pulled the trigger and am starting to formally wash our fruit and veggies. I grabbed this Eco plant powered fruit and veggie wash from uncle Giuseppe‘s and have been getting into the habit of doing this the moment we get home before putting them away. We try and shop organic whenever possible. Am I crazy or is this a thing? Anyone else?? @Hayley Foster what say you. 🤣

Supplements
Some people are all for supplementation and some people aren't. Brian and I wanted to share our list of what we are doing and why. For starters, we try to do blood work every 4-6 months to see what our numbers look like - what's high, what's low. Our bodies are ever evolving machines, especially women in peri-menopause and beyond. We just don't make things in our bodies the way we used to and once those hormones start to shift, everything shifts with it. The supplements I am taking are very specific to me so I'm only going to share what I take that could be good for anyone. Here goes: AG1 - Everything but mostly Gut Health - start my day with it every day Creatine - Brain and Muscles L-Glutamine - Gut Health & Immunity - supports white blood cells in your intestines Vitamin D with K1 & K2 - Immunity & Heart Health B-Complex - Energy (and my B's are low) Blackseed Oil - Immunity (works wonders when you're coming down with something) Omegas - Heart Health Collagen - Joints, Bones, Hair, Nails, Teeth Magnesium Glycinate - Sleep Note: If you're not sleeping at least 7-8 hours a night, moving daily, getting sunlight, eating 80% clean and finding ways relax(breathing/meditating/journaling/Yoga), all of the above can't make up for that. We also add LMNT salts to our water for better hydration - has added magnesium, potassium and electrolytes. What's on your list?
