WOTD - Invicta Pro Diver
Since I bought this watch I wear it pretty much daily and I like it more and more each day. This is my first diver and I’m looking forward to where this watch leads me next 😊

New Additions
I’ve two new watches for the collection. A Timex Waterbury Traditional Chronograph 41mm silver oxide SR927SW & a Sieko SWR049P1. My Vencero Apex Tachometer has stopped functioning. I can no longer set the hour & minute hands, the other complications function. So I went looking for a replacement and brought the Timex. One of my watches on the buy list was a tank style. Sieko does not list any on their site however I found this on Amazon for $145 US. So I bought it.

Toronto Timepiece Show 2025 short report
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Toronto Timepiece Show at the Meridian Arts Centre in North York, ON. This was the second-ever show and I was bummed out to miss it last September. If you've never been to a watch show, I would strongly encourage you to attend. There were around 80 different watch makers from across the globe, as well as a good number of local (Canadian, provincial) makers. The best part of it was the ability to try many watches in one place. I was lucky enough to try a couple of watches from Scottish makers (Clarence, Paulin), French makers (Serica, Yema) and I even tried on a Breitling Navitimer (est. value $12,000 CDN!!) I don't think I've even had something that expensive on my wrist, ever! The mood was super chill and I spent a couple of hours talking to the makers, asking questions and admiring their work. A big thank-you to the show organizers. It was free admission as long as you got your online tickets before the show. I now have a better idea of the types and styles of watch that I prefer. All I need now is some disposable income :-)
WOTD — Militado1963 Retro Field Watch
Happy Field Watch Friday! Sporting the Militado ML05 38mm VH31 Quartz 1963 Retro Field Watch today, a HamBen (Vietnam era Hamilton/Benrus) Tribute Piece. This watch is a strap monster, although I love this on the NATO strap it arrived on so much that I have not tried to switch it out yet. This one now comes in a bunch of different dial and strap options on Amazon, although I would still select this original one again for myself. If interested in the full specs, along with additional information and images, I invite you to visit my Introductory Post for this piece. Best wishes for a Fantastic Field Watch Friday! 😀
