This morning there were 2 white dials, this beautiful Bambino and my face this morning when I went to sit in the garden with my morning coffee, the first snake in our garden for the summer, a highly venomous Puff Adder under the table where we sit.

Up early to see my son off to school for his final semester before he's unleashed on the unsuspecting world.😃 It's been great having him home for holiday break, but I know he's been bored out of his skull being here. "How do you know that?", you ask. School doesn't start up again for another two weeks and he's suddenly inspired to return to get a headstart on finding an on-campus job.🤣 Interestingly, his new girlfriend is also returning early.🤔 Starting my day with my wonderful, generous and thoughtful gift from my wife. Figured I’d kick off the first work week of the year following some semblance of an order, and this one really needs more wrist time. 40mm at 8.4 thick, flat sapphire crystal applied indices and a fantastic but subtle texture to the dial and just enough Seiko lume. With 100m WR this really could be a fantastic GADA even though I tend to treat it like more of a dress watch. Happy Humpday y’all!
