Stop Buying Watches That Don’t Fit Your Life
A lot of men build watch collections for a life they do not live. They buy for hype. They buy for status. They buy because the internet told them that piece matters. But here’s the truth: If the watch doesn’t fit your real life, it won’t get worn. That means you need to think about: • what you wear to work • what you wear on weekends • whether you dress up often or rarely • whether you travel • what you actually reach for without thinking Because the best watch in theory is useless if it stays in the box. Inside Watch Lover Premium, we help you build a collection around your real life, not somebody else’s. 30DC - White Wednesday
Today’s pick is my rare, Bulova/Accutron square dial watch with a Valjoux 7750 movement. This is pretty hefty and large watch. This one was also a surprise gift from my lovely wife. She bought it for me after I’d spotted it at Costco.

30DC - Got noir?
Today’s pick was purely an impulse buy. I was poking around one of my favorite watch stores and this one was in a corner of the watch case on clearance and it caught my eye. Tissot calls it the ā€œHeritage Princeā€ but in the watch world it’s known as the ā€œBananaā€. I call it my ā€œAlice in Wonderlandā€ watch.

30 Day Challenge - Day 9 - Throwback Thursday
Went with a Throwback to this vintage Seiko this morning. I found this one at an antique store when I was first getting back into watches. I don’t wear it often as my wife has taken it over and laid claim. It’s not even in my collection spreadsheet it turns out.

Itching For Another Watch
Lately I’ve been feeling the itch to buy another watch but I’m trying to be smart about it. I don’t want to make a purchase just because I ā€œlike itā€ in the moment. I’ve said before that I want to build my collection with intention. I want each piece to actually mean something—something tied to a moment, a milestone, or a story. My goal is that when someone asks me about a watch I’m wearing, I can share why it matters to me… not just ā€œI thought it looked cool.ā€ So for now, I'll be patient.....I'll try and be patient🤣
