Wearing the watch that got me into Swiss watches. A gift from my wife several years ago, it was my first big boy watch. Wore it as a daily for a long time. This one was my gateway into more expensive brands.

Happy "Blue" Monday! The beautiful Blue MOP dial on this Erebus 39mm Ascent Automatic has been calling to me all weekend waiting for this morning. But not only is this simply a gorgeous MOP dial, in my trending lower-end-of-the-price-scale collection this Erebus has by far the cleanest, easiest, and best operating crown and date setting feature of any of my watches. Works perfectly and immediately every time, without having to fiddle around trying to find the right crown slot to adjust the date. And so smooth. Simply an overall amazing watch. I cropped the photo of this rather closely to hopefully display the texture and colors of this mesmerizing MOP dial which continually shifts colors as the light angle changes.
