My wife and I both share a love of watches. But we are obviously different sizes. So I came up with the bright idea to change straps. So basically I can “liberate” her watches and add them to my wear cycle 😜😎 @David Denham Jr being the strap guru turned me on to CNS straps and down the rabbit hole I fell. As a watch guy. With a wife who loves watches. And 2 grown boys that are getting into watches. And a father who is learning watch repair as a hobby. What do you do for Christmas?? This year I thought I’d get each son a DIY watch Club watch. This way I get to build a watch for each of them. And they get a watch to add to their collection that their old man picked out and assembled. So basically I gave myself a gift of learning how to build a watch from a kit 🎉🎉. They get a watch their Dad thought they’d love and built it for them. I’m feeling like I gave myself a gift a little bit better than what I’m giving them😎🙏 This is going to be fun!! Here are the pictures of both kits. I bought one with the expanded tool kit the other standard as I didn’t know what they would need. I’ll post more as the project continues!!
