Some places don't make it onto most maps. Carova sits at the very tip of North Carolina's Outer Banks, where the barrier island quietly crosses into Virginia — wild coastline, open sky, and the kind of unhurried confidence that comes from knowing exactly where you belong. That spirit is the CAROVA. Arriving in October. Designed by our in-house team (David and Neil, thank you.) A sport dress watch with no compromises. Our signature sand grain dial captures the texture of the shoreline itself. The double domed sapphire crystal adds vintage soul with modern scratch resistance. And look closely at the seconds hand — you'll find our mark: the oversized red-tipped sweep arrow. A quiet signal to those who know. Specifications: Movement: MIYOTA 8215 automatic Case: 41mm diameter, 316L stainless steel, brushed and polished finish Case Height: 12.5mm Lug-to-Lug: 48mm Lug Width: 20mm Crystal: Double domed sapphire Dial: Signature sand grain texture with outer seconds ring and round date window at six with black date wheel. Hands: Rounded baton with BGW9 lume; oversized red-tipped sweep seconds hand Caseback: Engraved with Monterey compass-rose logo Bracelet: 316L stainless steel three-link with micro-adjust clasp Water Resistance: 200M Colorways: Four The CAROVA: where the Outer Banks meet the open water. Gorgeous dial! 200mm in a non diving watch is special too

That looks awesome! Especially with the strap
Interesting take on cheap mechanicals/ automatics
He makes a great argument for decent quartz/ solar. Those of us that don’t want to pay used car prices for a watch may be better off looking at better quality quartz or solar… https://youtu.be/E1Z74IOsLeU?is=gRIDC6SiL7gPvSK-

@Scott Eisenacher I love quartz too. Most watch enthusiasts will wear all of the above, but there are a select few who don’t like anything quartz. I’m definitely not one of them. Quartz was a game changer
SSSSHHHHH, Don’t Tell My Wife
I’m slowly getting my wife to drink the horological Kool-Aid. 😄 After years of insisting her Apple Watch was appropriate for every occasion, I finally convinced her that maybe—even just maybe—a dinner date or special event deserves something with actual hands and a little soul. We went shopping and narrowed it down to a couple of Tissots and a Western-inspired Bulova. Then I explained the magic of extra straps: with a few quick strap swaps, those watches become seven different looks, plus she still has her Apple Watch for the gym and everyday notifications. I may have accidentally created another watch enthusiast… and I’m not even sorry. I think I’ll just get her all three—one for each of her three birthdays in July. (Don’t ask, that’s a completely different story).
