Dandelion and Burdock drink (Tum Tum friendly)
I used to love dandelion and burdock drink as a kid, tho the shop bought stuff is full of sugar, so I'd thought id make my own, without the bad stuff. I've not made it yet as I need burdock root and need to pick and prep dandelion root, and when stomach is feeling calmer Ive cut away all sugar. Dandelion Traditionally supports: digestion and bile flow liver support gentle fluid balance mild bitterness that can stimulate digestion Burdock Often used for.. digestive support skin and lymph support gentle prebiotic fibre (from the root) Usually milder than dandelion, but again, strong decoctions can feel “heavy” if digestion is sensitive. Gentle Homemade Dandelion & Burdock 🌼🍵(Gastritis-Friendly) Made for a calmer stomach, soothing rather than harsh. You’ll need: 1 teaspoon dried burdock root ½ teaspoon roasted dandelion root (keep this lighter at first) 1 thin slice fresh ginger (optional only if ginger suits you) 1 small piece cinnamon stick (optional) 500–600ml filtered water ½ teaspoon Manuka Honey or raw honey (optional, added after cooling slightly) Method: Add the burdock root, dandelion root, and optional ginger/cinnamon to a small pan. Pour in the water. Bring gently to a simmer, not a rolling boil. Let it simmer softly for about 10–15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes. Strain well. Let it cool to warm or room temperature before drinking. Add honey only once it’s no longer very hot. How to take it: Start with half a cup first, not a full mug Best after food, not on an empty stomach Once a day to begin with Watch how your stomach responds If your stomach is very sensitive: Use: burdock root only for the first few days then slowly introduce a little dandelion. slow, simple, and listening to the body. Your stomach will tell the truth faster than any label on a bottle. Sip and enjoy.

Raw Food Cheese Recipe
I made this and it was delicious. I had never made raw cheese before. with recipes like this I could be raw forever, except everything takes soooo... long to make. This doesn't take long as long as you soak the cashews in advance! https://minimalistbaker.com/garlic-herb-vegan-cheese/
Three Cornered leek.
Have you come across these wild growing white flowers that look like white bluebells, usually growing with the bluebells. Three-cornered leek (Allium triquetrum) is fully edible and considered a delicious, invasive wild green. Every part of the plant, leaves, stems, flowers, and bulbs, can be eaten raw or cooked, offering a mild, sweet onion/garlic flavor similar to spring onions or chives. Key Culinary Uses: - Leaves/Stems: Used in salads, pesto, soups, or sautéed like spring onions - Flowers: Used as a decorative, garlicky garnish for salads and dishes. - Bulbs: Can be cooked as a substitute for small onions or garlic.  Important Identification Tips: - Stem Shape: The stems have a distinct three-cornered (triangular) shape. - Smell: When crushed, the plant has a strong, unmistakable onion or garlic smell. - Flowers: Small white, bell-shaped flowers with a green stripe down the center of each petal. - Warning: It can be confused with poisonous plants like Lily of the Valley, which has broader leaves and lacks the onion scent, or Snowflakes, which have yellow/green spots at the tip of the petals.  Ensure you clean them thoroughly before consumption. Regardingnutritional value, it is known to be a powerhouse of nutrients typical of the Allium (garlic and onion) family. Core Nutritional Highlights Vitamins & Minerals: It is particularly high in vitamins A and C, which support your immune system and skin health. It also provides essential minerals like iron, calcium, and vitamin K, making it a great "spring tonic" to revitalise you after winter. Antioxidants: Like its cousin wild garlic, it contains flavonoids and antioxidants that help protect your cells from damage. Sulfur Compounds: The characteristic garlic smell comes from allicin and other sulfur compounds. These are known for their antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Potential Health Benefits Heart Health: Regularly eating alliums like three-cornered leek can help reduce high blood pressure and lower "bad" cholesterol levels.

Micro greens
Here is a really simple way to grow your own nutritional micro greens. Find yourself some dandelions clock heads. Pick 3 or 4 clock heads. Remove the seeds from the fluffy part its attached to.. Next, put some compost in a terracotta tray, scatter the seeds onto the compost, water, place in a warm sunny location. In about 5 days you should see the seeds starting to sprout, 10 days they'll grow into leafy micro greens ready to add to your salad or meal. 🌱☘️🥰

I feel tired this week for detoxing parasites so I made my first ever energy balls. It has raw cacao, almond, chia seeds, flax seed, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and bananas. Oh and some oats. P/s : no bake but I roasted some of the nuts because they smell good when roasted.
