Anyone new to this space?
Hi, 👋 I've just started the Stable program (4 days ago) and really enjoying the Swiss ball work. My movement background is varied (tai chi, yoga, acroyoga, inline skating, running), have been practicing a bit of flow rope recently too. Anyone else recently joined? Would be nice to have some shared community on this journey. 🤜🤛 My plan is to complete the Stable program and then start exploring other courses on the platform.💪 Cheers, Alan
🤔🤔🤔
Is it "normal" that just today that it's my 3rd day doing the week one of the stability course I can barely hold close to 10sec the kneeling position? Around 5sec the sitted and like 2sec the belly position? Is there any "easier" variation in which I need to work on before hoping into the ones on the module?
Stability training
It’s my first week in the gym this week. My, my this is hard. I did my 3rd session today. I felt like I had progressed in my second one but today (3rd session) felt harder than yesterday’s. Is that usual? I’m slightly wondering if my ball has gone down a little, could that make it harder? I don’t even know how anyone is balancing on their front but I’m sure my body will work it out at some point. Should I wait until I feel comfortable with this weeks positions, maybe replaying again next week before moving onto week 2 or just plough on?
Hiiii
Hahahaha yup, it's me again!!! I finished my 1st week and I'm repeating it because I feel I need to be able to manage this week in a better way in order to move to the 2nd week!!!! So far, the being in the belly part still can't handle staying for more than 1sec 😭😭😭 but I'll keep trying ... when is it ok, to involve rope flow in this stability path??? Have a great week y'all!!!
Wheeew!
I did my first ever stability session and ohhh mayyyyy, it felt like when I went to a pilates class for the first time and ended up destroyed (in the good way hahahaha) ... I have some questions: 1. Is it normal to not be able to stand more than 1s without holding??? 2. How you do to keep the ball dry, I sweat a ton and ended gliding down! Have a great day!!!
