Which F? Feeling! I suppose that can technically come under Function, and I’m obviously just having a bit of fun. But today marks the first proper evening out on my Majorca holiday where I can get dressed up for a gorgeous oceanside restaurant and I feel incredible now my new summer wardrobe is truly in full swing! I know I look like a Charles Tyrwhitt store threw up on me, but hey, I love their stuff! Tonight I’m piecing together: - CT Linen slim fit collarless shirt with rolled sleeves - CT Linen navy shorts - Brown leather Anson belt - Brown leather strapped Vincero Chrono watch - Mahogany loafers from Thursdays (now broken in and comfier than ever!) - Straw trilby hat I’m looking forward to getting the rest of my summer wear in full swing over the week. Yesterday I had the pleasure of being knighted in the 4th Degree in the Knight of Columbus. (Me: 1st on the right from the middle) Me and 23 of my other brothers were exemplified into the order in the 4th Degree and are the last ones to receive the old ceremony before the revised ceremony that will start as of July 1st. I just wanted to share this great day with all you fine gentlemen and I pray that we all grow together in God. 🙏🏼

One thing I feel strongly about is when escorting our wives and girlfriends we need to show them respect. These days too many men don’t bother. I am not one of those men. I try to coordinate my outfit with my wife’s when ever we go out together. I ask Robin what she plans to wear and then coordinate to it. This morning I knew she was going to wear her lavender skirt with a lavender gingham blouse and purple fedora.I knew my lavender double breasted sports coat matches that skirt so that’s where I started. I wore a white dress dress.shirt with French cuffs and grey trousers u der it. From there the accessories included a vintage silk tie that was her father’s, blue derbies and blue straw fedora. What you don’t see is my socks match the jacket, plus I have on gold monkey paw cuff links and my Hamilton Boulton watch. Unfortunately we were not able to get a picture of us together. So gentlemen, make the effort to compliment your companion’s outfit with your own and make her shine.
