G'Day Gents, I'm excited to say that as of today I've finished the third draft of my book, thus completing my manuscript barring a few tweaks here and there. Which means that I will begin work on publishing, marketing and distributing my book within next two weeks or so. With that said, as I will be striving to self publish my book or if that fails publish my book with an independent small scale publisher. My book won’t be published until early next year at the very earliest, so there will be quite a wait before it will be out in the open for the masses to read. It also gives me great pleasure to officially announce the title and blurb for my debut novel, in fact barring my beta readers and editor you will be the first people outside of Australia to know the title and blurb. So, without further ado, the title and blurb of my debut novel is… Bespoke Love. “Set in 1956, Thomas Bishop a skilled tailor and devout Roman Catholic upon seeing a conspicuous newspaper advert visits and hires the fiery yet beautiful courtesan Marie Barbaroux to accompany him on six non-sexual outings, where they both teach each other the value of companionship, forming a unique friendship that becomes threatened when profound romantic feelings and loyalties to faith, profession and relative solitude come between them.” Additionally I’m excited to announce that starting this week, I will begin work on writing my second book, with the first draft of said book set to be completed before Christmas. Took the day off for my birthday, just to stay home & hang with my oldest. Cheers Gentlemen!!

Last night, my elder son was home to take his high school girlfriend to her last homecoming dance. He and his mom put together the outfit details to match hers in the preceding weeks and I helped rescue a lot of the details last night. While aghast he wore black sneakers, his dress shoes had become too small and mine are too big. This was only discovered yesterday. On the positive side, he came in and grabbed a pocket square without any discussion, and even grabbed a good one! Best still: they looked great and very much line a young couple in love. Today was family holiday photo shoot. I did share that this is my last year wearing jeans for the photo I do not wear denim at all anymore. Otherwise, we always have fun being goofy and taking photos with our regular photography group.

Sometimes when you are going through things, or maybe it’s just a rough day, in fact maybe you need to feel needed. When you have pets especially dogs; ( not too sure about cats), there is nothing better than their unconditional love. They are waiting every morning for me to get up so they can climb in my lap and let me know that they love me. I use to think it was just because they wanted to eat, but I found out that they just wanted to be near us and when we are away from them they miss us so much. And the best part is they love us equally. When it comes to them they do not favor me over my wife or vice versus. They always bring laugher and joy to this house. And especially when you have a person that is going through things emotionally and physically like with disabilities, they so so much love and compassion. With me working and my wire at home on disability, I know before we had them she had moments of depression but having them, has brought her so much joy and happiness.
