Buntyn’s Tie Challenge Day 11
This workweek starts off with the Red Kap Work Trousers. The Shirt is an Ely Western Pearl Snap with Red and Blue Tartan Checks. Thought I’d pick up on that Red with this Unmarked piece. The Jacket also has a hint of red striping throughout. It’s from Don the Clothier, out of Tyndall, South Dakota. Black belt and comfortable Loafers complete the ‘fit.

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Today is a bunch of internal meetings so I leave things in good hands for the rest of the week while I am out visiting with a client (and one of my out-of-state employees). • Shirt — DS-039 (Brisk): A white and blue striped dress shirt with a distinctive large pin collar on long point styling. The cotton and elastane blend provides comfort with stretch throughout the day. The barrel cuffs with 2 vertical buttons and single chest pocket give it a classic business feel. The pin collar adds a vintage sartorial touch that pairs beautifully with today's tie and collar pin combination. • Undershirt — US-001 (True Classic): A white cotton and polyester blend crew neck undershirt with exceptional light drape—almost none—ensuring it won't show through. The snug but very comfortable fit in size Large makes this an ideal foundation layer beneath any dress shirt. • Trousers — SL-020 (Joseph Abboud): Mid gray wool slacks with a very light gray secondary color creating a subtle mini check pattern. These heavy-weight wool trousers from a 2-button single-breasted suit feature 3/4 lining, 2 outward pleats per side, and a 1.5" cuff. The slight sheen finish and regular fit project business classic formality perfect for in-person meetings. • Vest — VWC-006 (Hart Schaffner Marx): A charcoal grey wool herringbone business vest with light grey accents. The single-breasted 5-button design features flap hip pockets and a left chest slot pocket. The brass dual-direction rear buckle adds functional adjustability. This vest bridges the gap between casual texture and business formality. • Tie — NT-034 (Harris Tweed): A bright burgundy Harris Tweed tie with dark red undertones in a classic twill pattern. The 3-fold construction with untipped finish and keeper loop measures 62" long with a 3.5" width—excellent for a substantial four-in-hand or half-Windsor knot. The tweed texture pairs exceptionally well with the herringbone vest. • Tie Accessories — TA-002 (Fort Belvedere) & TA-009: The silver collar pin with cubic ends (TA-002) threads through the pin collar of the Brisk shirt, creating that elegant collar lift beneath the tie knot. The shimmering gold triangular tie bar (TA-009) coordinates with the brass tones in the vest's rear buckle, adding visual interest.
