Lots of blue/brown combo and with different patterns that - to my eye - harmonize. PLEASE do comment either way, but especially if it comes across as busy. • Dress Shirt — DS-034 (Savile Row Company): Navy and white Prince of Wales check in cotton with French cuffs and point collar. The subtle windowpane pattern adds visual interest without overwhelming on camera, while the classic point collar works beautifully with today's tie knot. Medium drape that falls beautifully without feeling heavy, breaking appropriately between medium and full. These Italian-crafted slacks bring a warm earth tone to anchor the outfit's brown leather accessories. Recently retailored (Q4 2025) to work towards achieving the perfect fit. A wardrobe staple at 27 total wears and now $15 CPW — classic tobacco wool that pairs beautifully with navy blazers. • Odd Jacket — DOJ-010 (Ralph Lauren): Navy wool blazer with gold brass buttons in a 2-button single-breasted configuration. Rope shoulders with high armholes, full polyester lining, small notch lapels, and single rear vent. The slight sheen reads beautifully on video conference. An eBay find at just $59 — now at $8.33 CPW after 6 wears. Classic American blazer excellence.

One thing I feel strongly about is when escorting our wives and girlfriends we need to show them respect. These days too many men don’t bother. I am not one of those men. I try to coordinate my outfit with my wife’s when ever we go out together. I ask Robin what she plans to wear and then coordinate to it. This morning I knew she was going to wear her lavender skirt with a lavender gingham blouse and purple fedora.I knew my lavender double breasted sports coat matches that skirt so that’s where I started. I wore a white dress dress.shirt with French cuffs and grey trousers u der it. From there the accessories included a vintage silk tie that was her father’s, blue derbies and blue straw fedora. What you don’t see is my socks match the jacket, plus I have on gold monkey paw cuff links and my Hamilton Boulton watch. Unfortunately we were not able to get a picture of us together. So gentlemen, make the effort to compliment your companion’s outfit with your own and make her shine.
