Dear all, Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and support as we navigated our daughter's eye surgeries with Mayo Clinic. Both surgeries were very successful, and she is now well on the mend. Stopped and played the piano on the subway level one more time. I finished out the week by going back to work immediately. Hauled a load of fat steers to the beef plant, washed out the trailer, changed a few worn tires, and then helped some farmer friends of mine chop forage for my father-in-law's calves. Currently sitting with a Kafie 1901 maduro cigar, Coors Banquet beer, and reflecting on the week. I am wearing the brown bowler for the first time this fall. And while it was not planned not being an OSU fan, I am still wearing Ohio State colors with the red corduroy trousers, the red bow tie and the scarlett and grey stripes on the white shirt. I also have on a brown herringbone waist coat. The shoes are new, they are a vintage blue Florsheim derbies that I finally decided to pull the trigger on and buy.. I have been looking at these at the Goodwill for two months and I just was not sure about buying a blue shoe but they were nice so I finally bought them.
