The First 50
In May I started my weight loss at 323lbs. I told my wife that after I lost 50 lbs I was going to have some pizza. Well Tuesday of this week I officially hit that first 50lb mark and we just got done hosting the kids and the grandkids and some friends over for pizza. It was a lot of fun, but I think I realized that I don’t miss the pizza as much as I thought I did. Now I need to figure out how to celebrate the next 50lb loss.

Suit and ties
I grew up without a grandfather and a father so ive never worn a suit or tied a tie. But i am curious about it now that i have seen most of you guys wearing them and finding the right styles. Id like to know where you get them from?

Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

9/28 worship then Robin’s Classical Guitar Concert
With Michealmas being tomorrow I was unsure of the altar colors this morning and then with the Columbus Guitar Society’s member concert this afternoon I tried to dress appropriately for both. If we were celebrating Michealmas I wore the shirt with the red and grey stripes, if we were in regular time, I wore my green floral tie. From there I wore a black double breasted jacket, grey corduroy trousers, black cap toe oxfords, black on black striped socks and my grey Temple Fedora with the black strap. Robin who is not pictured wore a black button down blouse and black slacks as the member’s ensemble was asked to wear black.

GQ’s Rules for Modern Gentlemen
I thought this was a great read: Here’s one of my faves: 108. It’s always better to be overdressed. After a decade or so of dressing down feeling especially fresh, suddenly there’s no cooler move than showing up to the function in a look sharp enough to make people assume you’re heading somewhere spectacular afterward. https://www.gq.com/story/gq-125-rules-for-modern-gentlemen-manners-etiquette-guide
