Is it the shoes?
I put this outfit together for a funeral and my wife couldn't get past the shoes. A pair of Stacy Adams "Wayde" plain toe oxford she just kept calling them "sexy shoes." I'm glad I chose them and just a great illustration of how shoes can accentuate an outfit.

Which Pair of Pants? 👖
I was trying to decide which pair of pants to wear with this purple, white, and I think green plaid shirt along with my new carbon grey cardigan vest. My 22-year-old daughter said the grey ones with black shoes and Anson belt. However, I decided on a medium washed blue jeans with brown shoes and Anson belt. This seemed a better color combination, but am I wrong?

Style recommendations
Any tips to style this overshirt? The texture is ribbed knit and I'm finding it difficult to style them. I look like a scientist when i put it on.
