Getting quickly dressed this morning I started with the trousers worked with a color that I knew my pink shirt and royal blue blazer would work with. Grabbed a couple of ties and settled on the one in the pic and added a beige with blue silk pocket square. Went to my porch for the pic thinking how I was going to post on the triad of colors. Blue, pink and brown. Even picked my new brown shoes and blue patterned Pendleton socks. When I got out to the car in the sunlight I realized I grabbed my charcoal pants instead of the identical pair of brown pants. 😎. Well there you go. My lovely wife and I just returned from our Sunday, and what a transformational message delivered. For today’s service my outfit strikes a fine balance between professional polish and quiet confidence, making it exceptionally well-suited for Sunday worship. The subtle plaid sport coat, light blue check shirt, and tailored khaki trousers create a harmonious palette that conveys refinement without appearing overly formal or self-conscious. The dark suede Chelsea boots (a nod to my Texan influences ) and silver chronograph introduce just enough personality and contemporary flair to distinguish the look while remaining respectful of the setting. Altogether the attire projects the image of a gentleman who understands that dressing well for church is not about drawing attention to himself, but about honoring the occasion with dignity, taste, and understated elegance.

Today I dressed in some of my older clothes, a Wrangler pearl button short sleeve work shirt and faded Carhardt denim dungarees with work braces from Tractor Supply which was an ideal outfit for mowing the yard then taking the recycling to the collection sight. I wore an old straw trilby to mow. Then I ate lunch and switched hats from the old trilby to my Open Road and went grocery shopping.
