2026-04-16 - Daily Style Stand-Up: The Navy Blazer
Today's Daily Style Stand-Up should be an easy one... (Doing my best @Brian McGuire impression) - Gentlemen, I give you the Navy Blazer! As a reminder, there are only two rules: - Answer the three questions. - Human answers only. (No AI responses.) The second rule is because I believe the community is best served by reading what actual humans in this actual community actually think. And, yes, there are too many words in that sentence with actual as the root... The first rule is to keep things simple and easy to follow. Just answer the following three questions: - Is this item (perhaps in a different color or different fabric) already in my closet? - What is one way I would style this item with things currently in my closet? - What is one thing not currently in my closet I would buy to style with this item? Today's example is my own, made-to-measure, Navy Blazer. It's a merino wool herringbone with contrasting, Mother-of-Pearl buttons...

Style Battle: Chelsea Boots vs White Sneakers (Pick One & Why)
You can only keep one. Option 1: Chelsea Boots - Clean, masculine, versatile, sharper look, works great dressed up. Option 2: White Sneakers - Minimal, modern, easy to wear, casual staple, works with almost everything. So which one deserves a permanent spot in a man’s wardrobe? Chelsea boots or white sneakers? Make your case: Which gives more value, more versatility, and makes the bigger difference in how a man looks? Bonus question: What age range do you think each one works best for?

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Be Transformed
Good morning gentlemen, I called an old engineering friend and asked, " What have you been working on?' He replied, " Advanced Aqua-thermal processing of ceramics, aluminum, and steel, in a controlled environment." I was impressed! Until I found out he was just washing dishes in hot water while his wife supervised! Gentlemen, there are times in our lives that we all want to feel important, especially since we started this journey. But here is the deal, we can wear all the nice bespoke clothing, the most expensive fragrances, drive the most expensive car, live in the nicest high-rise apartment, or the most expensive house, but if your manners and attitude does not reflect what you are portraying then what you hoped to accomplished will be in vain. You might look like a gentleman on the outside, but the moment you open your mouth, or are faced with a situation that requires you to respond you will be exposed. This journey to being a gentleman is more than appearance or being popular. This journey is more than what people see on the outside, or what you do when people are around, this a about being that gentleman in every aspect especially when people are not around, (Or you think that no one is watching, you never know who's watching). To truly be a gentleman, you have to be willing to die to yourself, to give up the old ways, and willing to walk in a new way, a new light. Sometimes that means cutting ties with people who are not on the same path or level that you are now and that only want to keep you down and on the same level that they are on. You might have to leave that job that is holding you back; and you know you are being held back, but you stay because of fear or your friends that you have there. This might involve even a change in where you live to get that fresh start, yes change is and can be difficult and even hard at times; but here is the thing, the rewards and benefits from this will far out way they discomfort you dealt with during your transition to being a gentleman.
