Upgrade from Levi’s With These Made-In-USA Denim Brands
If you're tired of mass-market jeans, check out these denim brands that make jeans that get better with wear, not worse. Sure, Levi's might be the original, but let's face it – outside of the red tab and pocket arcs, the Levi's jeans of 2025 don't look much like the originals anymore. That's not to say they are necessarily bad jeans, but if you're tired of the same old styles and are looking for an upgrade, then you're in the right place. Today, we're talking about five of the absolute best 'Made in USA' denim brands that all specialize in old-school selvedge denim jeans. In this video, I cover the brand story for each, which jeans you should grab, and give alternatives to popular Levi's fits like the Levi's 501, Levi's 513, and Levi's 510. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGsXfLvLPJI

5 Raw Selvedge Denim Brands Worth Your Money (No Hype, Just Quality)
With so many options of Japanese raw selvedge denim on the market, finding the right pair can feel overwhelming. In this video, I break down 5 of my favorite raw selvedge denim brands worth your money right now. We cover a range of styles and fabrics, including heavyweight raw denim, slubby selvedge, neppy textures, and lightweight Japanese denim that feels incredibly comfortable straight out of the box. Whether you’re new to raw selvedge denim or a longtime denim head chasing your next pair, there’s an option here for you. All of these picks focus on quality, craftsmanship, and value, with an emphasis on Japanese selvedge denim known for its fabric innovation, durability, and aging potential. If you care about fades, construction, and long-term wear, this list is for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFhdgAE9MkU

A New Casual Boot Option
With Spring approaching I was looking at some casual boots that would also be rugged enough to handle the Rocky Mountain unexpected afternoon showers while I'm out and about town without leaning too far into hiking boot territory. After going through the usual heritage boot brands and styles the internet algorithms brought these to my attention. They are being offered through True Classic whom I only know for items like t-shirts or henleys so I was initially skeptical of their ability to make boots or shoes. However it seems these are a collaboration with Timberland who does have a good reputation of making boots. I don't wear Timberlands as that's not my style of boot, while a Chelsea boot is absolutely on brand for me. Has anyone heard anything about these boots, good or bad? Anyone have a pair themselves? I'm thinking a collaboration between two well known brands can turn out really well or very disappointing; especially their very first attempt.

Very nice!
Finally healed
I've been slowly recovery from a knee injury. I walked with a cane for a few years, then a knee brace, then unaided... Last year I could just manage a 200lb deadlift before it started complaining. Yesterday was leg day. I did 4 sets of 5 at 200lbs, (plus squats, lunges, leg curls, etc) and today my knees are the only part of my lower body that isnt angry with me. My knee is finally ready to take on more weight... once the rest of my legs recover.

Good for you! But don't overdo it
Finally some decent weather.
After several weeks of sub freezing temperatures and ice, the weather is finally in the 50s. Off to get some lunch.
Finally some decent weather.
