Gents - I’m on the shorter side (5’6”) and have purchased clothing from the usual suspects in the past - Ash &n Erie, Peter Manning, Under 5’10” etc. While I’ve been relatively satisfied with those purchases, their clothing can be a bit on the higher $$, so I’d be curious to hear some thoughts regarding the quality of these retailers while taking into account the elimination of the tailor tax since they offer lenghts and sizes that most retailer do not. Also, any other retailers that you may recommend for quality chinos, wool trousers, dress shirts, sportcoats, etc that are on par with those mentioned above but may be higher quality and more economical even factoring in a tailor tax.
