I'll say it again for the people in the back: yoga nidra is not a sleep practice.
It's a consciousness practice that happens to heal sleep as a side effect.
When we reduce it to "the thing that helps you sleep," we accidentally cut off 90% of what's available.
One of our Peace in Rest members put it this way:
"It's not a quick fix if you're not in a place to commit to setting some time aside. It's spiritual. It is a practice."
And another:
"I approached it to get better sleep and then I had no idea the depth of yoga nidra."
So here's my question for you this week:
What's the part of this practice you didn't see coming?
What surprised you? What opened up? What shifted that you weren't looking for?
I want to hear it all. The unexpected stuff is where the real teaching lives.
